Guest Jules
I'm pretty upset I'll have to miss his show at the Metro next week. I'll be in the city, too, although at a wedding.

thejokeexplained
I'm up on the 22nd in Denton, Tx and I am damn near as excited to see him as i am to se Wilco when they Play Ft.Woth in Oct., especially after reading that outstanding review by Solace. I agree 100% about his guitar playing ability, it is very good. I also thought it interesting Solace compared him with the Neil Young slouch guitar posture. I see a bit more Tweedy posture when he's on the acoustic then Neil but IMO he needs to be mentioned more often in any sense when it comes to Young or Dylan. In 20 years i believe Tweedy and Ward will be regarded as the new Young and Dylan.
Groo
Saw him play at the Metro last night. I had never heard him before. I definitely enjoyed the song "Chinese Translation," but the rest was foreign to me. I had a good time anyway, but I don't think I'm giong to become an M. Ward devotee any time soon. JeffTweedysFatStomach
Saw the Ward meister at the Metro - awesome awesome awesome. Check him out if you can. Somebody said that he was way better live than on record and they were absolutely right. As far as that goofy comment about Tweedy and Ward being the next Young and Dylan - NO WAY. Giving Tweedles and Montgomery Ward wayyyyy too much credit. Young spanks both of them and Dylan is just light years beyond.
Smokestack Joe
he was awesome awesome awesome in milwaukee the night before too!! i saw more of a ryan adams posing then tweedy. but that doesnt matter much to me anyway

That's a goofy comment. Check back in 20 years when Dylan and Young are gone.
