Duck-Billed Catechist
Not sure this needs its own thread, but I am pretty happy.
explodo
Beating the worst team in the NFL can't really be that much of a big deal can it?
Moltisanti
Oh, how I LOVE to see Favre continue to possibly ruin his legacy. All of these morons that used to say with a straight face that he's the greatest quarterback ever -- they can't still think that, can they? I had the Bears defense last year for fantasy, and I have them again. So yeah, go Bears.
Smokestack Joe
bears are good but not great.
Duck-Billed Catechist
Beating the worst team in the NFL can't really be that much of a big deal can it?Style points, my friend. Keep in mind that most Bears fans are figuring out how Rex Grossman is going to play.
chisoxjtrain
plus it was the packers...only the oldest rivalry in football
anodyne
i would take the packers in this game every single time. the socialist in me loves green bay. that said, my two favorite teams are cleveland and green bay. between football and elections, i'm very much used to disappointment. wheelco
the bratwurst eater in me would always take GB, but man was that a stomping

All of these morons that used to say with a straight face that he's the greatest quarterback ever -- they can't still think that, can they? He's not the best and never has been, but I also don't think he's ruining his legacy by playing right now. Every great quarterback has had help and most football fans understand that, right now, Favre doesn't.
Reni
If every Sunday I have to listen to the grunts and caveman like cheers coming from the neighbors upstairs, I think I might have to find housing elsewhere until February.

MrRain422
A lot of greats continued to play way longer than they should have. Not too many people remember how horrible Willie Mays's last couple years were. It's sort of sad/funny to see Favre right now, but he's not ruining his legacy. Ten years from now, only those who were rooting for his decline will remember it.

MrRain422
Well, I said "not too many", not "nobody". I guess you're one of the few. Or maybe I chose a bad example. :-P

MrRain422
How'd you end up being such a big Willie Mays fan living in Indiana, anyway? I don't suppose you're old enough to have seen Hammerin' Hank play for the Indianapolis Clowns...
