Sweet Papa Crimbo
What are you jammin this halloween? Mr. Brown by Bob Marley is a good halloweenish song Taking suggestions. The Toadies --- Possum Kingdom. Either about a serial killer or a vampire. One of the most surreal things I've ever seen is a stripper doing her pole routine to this song: "It has a really good beat..." Make up your mindDecide to walk with meAround the lake tonightAround the lake tonightBy my sideBy my sideI'm not gonna lieI'll not be a gentlemanBehind the boathouseI'll show you my dark secret I'm not gonna lieI want you for mineMy blushing brideMy lover, be my lover, yeah... Don't be afraidI didn't mean to scare youSo help me, Jesus I can promise youYou'll stay as beautifulWith dark hairAnd soft skin...foreverForever Make up your mindMake up your mindAnd I'll promise youI will treat you wellMy sweet angelSo help me, Jesus (hey, hey, hey) Give it up to meGive it up to meDo you wanna beMy angel? So help me! Sweet Papa Crimbo
I'm telling you, man, "Mister Love" rocks all kinds of shit. I am partial to Tyler... And she runs through her days with a smile on her faceAnd she runs, and she waits, and I wait We can drive to anyplace, day or night, across the stateAnd in the morning, into Mexico, we will wake up I find a window in the kitchen, and I let myself inRummage through the refrigerator, find myself a beerI can't believe I'm really here, and she's lying in that bedI can almost feel her touch, and her anxious breath! I stumble in the hallway, outside the bedroom doorI hear her call out to me, I hear the fear in her voiceShe pulls the covers tighter, I press against the door I will be with her tonight! It is an original by Hap, who pretty much just makes educational records that get played in school. There's nothing much educational about the song, which is about putting things such as "spider webs, moldy bread, fingernails too" into a witches' brew, then wondering "what's it gonna do to you?" I reckon it will fuck you up pretty badly, especially when you get to the motor oil.
