explodo
no good, huh? that sucks. Not no good but also not great or anything. I don't know what I expected, to be honest. His voice bothers me more and more on each successive album. I do like the direction musically so I'm still excited for the full-length.
solace
i didn't think it was possible, but he somehow topped Eggs... easily one of the most gorgeous records i've head in a long while... the production is just impeccable for you oink people, it's finally leaked widely as well

Or actually, once I stop the stream because I don't like it.

When does it come out, Kyle?3/20 i believe Haley Bonar sings on at least 3 songs. her voice sounds so great alongside Andrew's, especially Spare-ohs.

I'll have to change mine up.
solace
well it's certainly possible it was changed last minute i suppose. i'll post the times of the songs on mine later so you can compare, just to make sure the titles lineup at least, regardless of the order. oatmealblizzard
As mentioned above, the new Andrew Bird is fantastic. I'm in total agreement. Thanks for the tip, solace.
solace
i'm off to oink now... but NP: i'm no hip hop afficianado, but i love love love this record... Stef is SO frickin' awesome... the song w/ Craig Finn rules too. i had Lupe Fiasco's record as my fave hip hop record from last year, but the more i listen, i think it might be that one... also, from a bit of searching, it looks like the tracklist as posted is the final one. i'll have to reorder mine. that's too bad, cuz i loved the tracklisting as it was
Mystik Spiral
the song with craig finn was what hooked me initally, to be honest. i tried to get into that lupe fiasco album, but just couldn't... he's coming to town with the roots next month though - might have to check that one out. Mystik Spiral
kick push was ok... maybe my favorite track on the album. i've only started getting into hip hop, so what do i know?
solace
hehe i can give you a few recommendations if you'd like... i can guarantee my whitebread rap tastes are probably easier to digest for someone new to hip hop compared to more knowledgeable folks
Welsh Rich
Damn... I hate being behind the company firewall here, no Andrew Bird till later! I'm also going to have to disagree with you Good, Bad & Queen haters - I think it's a great album, but it's a definite grower. It's so understated and delicately arranged that it's an album you actually have to listen to. If its just on in the background, it just doesn't work... It is, however, a very British album, so not everyone might get it. NP: Wolf & Club - VesselsThis is some dirty rock n roll...
