i'm only sleeping
I even became a fan of Billy Bragg. Will I survive?
ction
I even became a fan of Billy Bragg. Will I survive? Billy Bragg is great. I was a big fan of Talking With the Taxman About Poetry, in particular, before I'd ever even heard of Uncle Tupelo.
Ghost of Electricity
Nope, sorry. Listen to Summerteeth instead. well, I almost took your advice. or, terms rather. I listened to A.M. and Anodyne instead. I hope you'll forgive me.

SGL
Dear Ction, How do the side projects (Loose Fur, Golden Smog, Autumn Defense, etc.) fit into enjoying Wilco on your terms?
ction
Dear Ction, How do the side projects (Loose Fur, Golden Smog, Autumn Defense, etc.) fit into enjoying Wilco on your terms? Be safe and just listen to AM instead. P.S. One of the first songs on the second Loose Fur album...the one with the whistling? I hate that song, but that's not my point. For some reason, it reminds me a lot of a song on the Teen Wolf soundtrack. Well, it was in the movie, I'm assuming it was on the soundtrack. I haven't seen it in a while but I think it might have been the background music to a montage of Michael J. Fox-as-wolfboy playing basketball and in generally winning over the other kids and being the BMOC n shit. I hated that Teen Wold soundtrack song too. Also, Teen Wolf Too was an abomination. austrya
P.S. Summerteeth Ok, JUDE, now you're just trying to enjoy Wilco on MY terms. I thought this thread was about ction.

Also, Teen Wolf Too was an abomination.dear mr. squigglecat, We regret to inform you that your "A.M." listening rights have officially been revoked (papers are in the mail). Also, two copies of 1985's best-selling soundtrack, "Teen Wolf" are en route to your residence as you read this. Wilco has decided to deal with you on their terms. Step1. clean AM with sandpaper. Step2. memorize "Teen Wolf" soundtrack. know it. live it. Step3. wait patiently for "Step 4." Sincerely, jimbly jane
