Kalle
What are everyones thoughts on this album?
solace
lovely... and certainly a better all around album than Let It Die (not to mention that she actually wrote everything for this one whereas the last was half covers), but i still prefer Let It Die for now, simply because of the uptempo & fun tracks it's certainly much more like her solo live show though
HighFives
Let It Die didn't do anything for me save 1 or 2 songs. How is this one in comparison?
Kalle
I really like this one alot more than Let It Die, the first four songs are fantastic and there's a nice mix between fun Feist songs (1 2 3 4, My Moon My Man, I Feel It All, Sea Lion Woman) and minimal slow Feist songs (The Park, Intuition etc.). Chendizzle
Yeah I like the album, but Let It Die has the better uptempo songs.
TheMaker
I like Let It Die better, but only by a hair. The songwriting on the new one is generally very strong, and the production is flattering. It feels like a really rewarding grower to me.
street spirit
I still think Mushaboom is her best song, but I like this album better on the whole. I think it should be mentioned that "Sea Lion Woman" is a cover... so she didn't quite write everything.
krazyj2123
can someone pleae pm me the album or give me a linkthanks in advance

street spirit
It's either a traditional tune or a Nina Simone song... im not sure which. The Constantines covered it for the BSide of Young Lions, which is the only reason I knew. Off topic, but I've always wondered... is that smiley supposed to be winking or grimacing? shabba rich
This is one brilliant record. She's streaming it at http://www.myspace.com/feist Every track is strong except for the very last one. She is a true original. There is nobody on the planet who sounds like her. Like SBS, it shows how you can be accessible without compromising a shred of artistic integrity. Welsh Rich
I finally got round to listening to this yesterday and was amazed by it. Her voice is great and the songs are really varied.
lizish
Me too - amazed by it. Didn't warm to Let It Die at all.
blindgonzo
I think this is her best record by far!!
Chendizzle
She is a true original. There is nobody on the planet who sounds like her. I think her and Chan Marshall sound pretty similar sometimes, but I know what you mean.

TheMaker
Ewww! Don't be grody. Seriously, though, Chan has maybe a fraction of Feist's range. And I'm not saying that just because I'm a fan of the latter and not the former. But I guess it helps.
Scalzunfield
Just a note in case everyone hadn't seen. She's on Leno tomorrow night (Tuesday). I get the distinct feeling she'll play "1234," but I'm praying for "I Feel It All." It's been lodged in my brain since I first heard it last week and just might be my favorite tune of '07. Well, after "Impossible Germany."
lizish
Just reading the liner notes and Brandy Alexander is a Ron Sexsmith co-composition. Couldn't put my finger in it, but that just makes sense...
Chendizzle
A reminder (err not THE Reminder), Feist will be on Leno in a few mins.
Artifice
Gonna see her show in a couple weeks and am about to pick this up. Does anyone have it yet? Thoughts?
