c53x12
It might be just too easy making fun of this dude. He did put this out there for everyone to see. I think he knows he's putting out flame bait and doesn't really care.
JUDE
Some of you don't actually see how tounge-in-cheek this ad was written? Wow. Just, wow...

misslaura
He's clearly already gotten (and rejected) an offer from misslaura. Hey, there's no shame to my game. If I hadn't gotten tickets through Ticketmaster by some strange stroke of good luck I might throw myself into the running (actually, probably not. I would just pay $100/ticket to a scalper). There are no good restaurants in that neighborhood though.
JUDE
What kind of response are you getting? OK Mr. Smart Guy Moderator, you know I'm nowhere near the East Coast. Nice try. I am totally stealing this guy bit for my extra Ryan Adams ticket though!
Duck-Billed Catechist
You were supposed to play along.
yankhotelfox
There are no good restaurants in that neighborhood though. Really? None? There might be a subway in Penn Station. Besides that, I'm sure you can find somewhere decent. I think this guy has balls to avail himself in this manner. My only problem is that he seems incredibly picky in his questionaire. Mine would all be like: Any cute girls want to join me fore Wilco at the Hammerstein....?
CommerceComet
My only problem is that he seems incredibly picky in his questionaire. Yeah I don't know if the best way to get girls is to give them homework assignments.
OOO
Yeah I don't know if the best way to get girls is to give them homework assignments. Actually, I totally plan on dating my students once I become a high school math teacher.
Analogman
The idea of finding a mate who is a Wilco fan is appealing. Maybe we need a singles board on VC. Name it "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart." We already did that bit.
aricandover
We already did that bit. yeah, no kidding.
myboyblue
Short of asking for a "happy ending", I see nothing wrong with the ad.
kidsmoke
yeah, no kidding. And it worked out well for you, Kris.
