Jimmy Coulas
Well a date has not been announced, but they will be headling The Pritzker Pavillion (Millennum Park) in Chicago! Now judging from their August 29 show in LA and their ACL performance I would think this show would be towards the end of the month, but none the less it will be a great place to see Wilco!!!! End of September
virtualreason
Except for them playing in my backyard, this is my dream Wilco concert scenario.
EL the Famous
I have yet to actually see a performance in that venue and this would be a perfect way to remedy that. plus...THE BEAN!

Quartzy
I'll be there!
jc4prez
awesome. I was scared this was gonna be free. That decembrists show was a fiasco. People were leaving seats early and they wouldnt let people who actully wanted to watch down. Plus you can't even see the bands from the lawn and the sound is better then grant park but still to low. Will def. be trying to get tickets for this!
zebra
I am also glad it will not be a free show and I will also be there.
renic
if this turns out to be true, it will be two of the best weeks ever! (not to overshadow the best weeks ever i will be having on vacation of course)

billyman
This will be crazy. Really wish they'd be able to put together two dates for an event as great as this should turn out to be.

Also, the title of this thread made me laugh really hard...."finally" a Chicago show?? In terms of seeing Wilco, you guys in Chicago are the luckiest folks of them all. Yes, Wilco plays Chicago more often than other areas, because they are from Chicago, and they have the most fans here. Regardless, we only get one summer and the Thanksgiving shows now-a-days. I'm super pumped for this. Hopefully I can grab one of the 3,000 seats!

I was just saying you guys are luckier than most, and I found it funny because it sounded as if they haven't played there in years, is all.
