Scalzunfield
How will that setup look for Slugger Field?Stage,seating,ect............... Yeah I'm curious too. The stadium seats 13,000 people, so...wow. Could be a big group there. Here's to hoping for more Cincinnati/Indy shows soon after!
PigSooie
Here's the Little Rock venue. Only thing I know about the place is that the symphony plays there sometimes.
darkstar
hmmmmm Little Rock, Louisville. where the hell does Nashville fit in? They need to come on down and play the Ryman again!!!!
watchtower41
Slugger Field (you know as in LOUISVILLE slugger)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Sep 21 Beautiful minor league field right on the river in the heart of downtown MY fourth Louisville Show Surprised it took this long for someone to comment abot this show.... WILCO @ Slugger Field!!! This show will truly be incredible, though one has to think this might be a co-headliner?? Are they big enough to sell out a baseball stadium?? Albeit a smaller minor league park, but nonetheless, seeing this today absolutely made my day. AWESOME. Don't forget kids, Millenium Park show is supposed to fall aronud these dates as well.... and possibly the day after Louisville? i wonder how far it is from chicago to louisville, hmmmmmm5.5 hours
W(TF)
Louisville on the summer solstice, hell yes I will be there!!!!! I'm planning a motorcycle trip that weekend to N.GA / W.NC, so it's only a 2-hour or so detour. The only thing better would be if they announce Chatanooga (or Atlanta) on the 22nd! Counting Crows and Live concert goes on-sale for Slugger Field this Saturday (no venue maps listed for concerts just yet)

mchchef1
Thanks..I knew I'd screw that one up. D'oh.I perfer Autumnal Equinox, but hey to each his/her, anywho I saw Los Lobos @slugger field a couple of years back, and the crowd was half what I would anticipate Wilco's crowd to be, and it was cool. LEt me be the first to beg for a one time MMJ home town opening act?? EDIT: after looking at Ticketmaster The Counting Crows show is GA, both the field and the stands. morecowbelllplz
>> Where would they play in Ft. Wayne? The Embassy Theatre? Most def not the Colesium! Maybe they will hit Indy again..
Bob Dylan's Beard
I live in Oxford MS which is about an hour south of Memphis and I'm going to the South Haven show on the 13th. But should I go to the Little rock show the next week? It's only like a three hour drive and I'm thinking hard about it, but I don't know.

One show will leave you thirsting for more. This band is sizzling in concert, you'll be awestruck.
Bob Dylan's Beard
Oh I know about how the band is playing. I drove seven hours to see them at Chastain, so the hour jaunt for Southaven and the three hours for Little Rock seem like childs play in comparison. I'm also contemplating Voodoo Fest (although the festival environment isn't my favorite) but the thought of seeing these guys four times in as many months makes me giddy like a schoolgirl. Wendy
Where would they play in Ft. Wayne? The Embassy Theatre? Most def not the Colesium! Maybe they will hit Indy again.. They were just in Indy a few weeks ago, so that's probably too soon to go again. What I meant was, if they are in Louisville, then they're in the vicinity of Indiana. So, hey Wilco! Head on north to Fort Wayne! Fort Wayne loves you!!! The Embassy is a beautiful place for a Wilco show! (We've been over that before, though. They know we want them to come.) Seriously, though - I keep hoping for the little grass roots "Bring Wilco To Fort Wayne" project to pay off one of these days, if not that one. That is a sweet date, though - a Saturday night. You all could come if was on a Saturday night, right? All you people who live in Chicago, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Indianapolis, Columbus, Cleveland, Cinci, Bloomington, Lafayette, South Bend, Toledo, Detroit, Grand Rapids ... all close by and so easy because it's a Saturday night road trip! We've got 2400 seats. Bring Wilco To Fort Wayne!

MAN..your not fucking around..a whole website dedicated to bringing Wilco to Ft Wayne. ...Hopefully they see it...I've never been to the Embassy..just the Coliseum, but I do agree with you that it is a good location... I was just up there for tool and loved it!

Any idea when the show, whether it's in Snowden or the GPAC, will go on sale? I'd prefer the GPAC because it's ten minutes from my apartment and the acoustics are wonderful. I was at the Ryan Adams show, too. Fantastic performance, but I would've liked an encore. Alas.
