Sweet Papa Crimbo
Taking the D-man to his first show/concert at the Palladium Tomorrow night. Should I be tracking some Dr. Dog for us to familiarize ourselves with or should we show up fashionalby late? (In othe words, is Dr. Dog going to be something to tolerate or something to enjoy?) nalafej
I think a kid would enjoy. Mostly upbeat music. They jump all over the place and wear sunglasses.
jc4prez
GO They are an awesome band. If your son likes Wilco I think he will dig them.
bobbob1313
If he's into sunny 60's pop he'll be a big fan of theirs. They are pretty awesome live. Saw them at Bonnaroo. "Time" by Pink Floyd was playing when they came on stage, so they just got up and started jamming to it. Pretty sweet.
bedbug
GO They are an awesome band. If your son likes Wilco I think he will dig them. I agree! One of the best bands out there right now.
SarahC
They were amazing when I saw them back in May. Man, it would be a fantastic double bill to see Wilco and Dr. Dog. The only bill better would be if the 97's opened for Wilco. Seriously. Go see them. They are the best opener Wilco has had in a very long time.
bart m
Tickets show 7:30....is this when Dr. Dog will play?
zebra
I personally didn't care for Dr. Dog. They weren't bad, but they didn't appeal to me. Although, maybe that's because I was so excited to hear Wilco.
wilceaux
They actually just got added to the ACL fest.

I haven't been as excited about listenting to a band's cd or seeing a band live since my brother bought me Being There 10 years ago. Dr. Dog is exciting, fresh, fun. HELL YES TO THE DOG. Those guys do it right. WORD MOS DEF
Papillon Parade
Most excellent. I am going to see them and Apollo Sunshine in 2 weeks in Boston at the Paradise and didn't know a thing about them.
