You guys can have Jeff Cowan, he's ALL yours.

Blah Calgary fucking had it, man, they had it!

My boys Ovechkin and Matt Cooke lost tonight as well, but oh well, the Flyers will be easier for the Habs to beat I guess.

A sequel? This was movie #31 and it had the same outcome as 23 of the other movies!!

In regards to the riots, no, most people in Montreal are expecting the Canadiens to at least make it to the third round, if not the 4th.

I grew up in Montreal in the 70's, as kids we just rolled out of bed and yawned if the Lord Stanley cup didn't look shiny enough. I was living there in '86 as well, the last time a rookie goalie took them all the way. Montrealers (my dad still is one) they expect these Habs to win it all.

I would rather see it in Gotham, but since I am more French Canadian than anything else, I have a genetic predisposition to support Les Habitants.

Holy f'ing hell, how the Flyers pulled that one out is a damn mystery. I'm scared of the next round...

I'm still stunned over that one. Once the Caps killed off the 4-minute minor (with 2 minutes of 5-on-3) at the end of the first, I thought it was their night. I don't expect they would have beaten Pittsburgh, but I hate to see this run end.

Unlike in '98, at least, I think the Caps have actually put together a team that can contend for the next couple of years.

The Caps have something to build on, they had a great season.

Here's my predictions (mixed with hopes) for the next round:

Habs beat the Flyers in 6

Red Wings beat the Avalanche in 5

Rangers beat the Penguins in 7

Sharks beat the Stars in 6

Flyers Montreal is goint to be intense if the hab fans keep booing the american national anthem the fyler fans are gonna riot

I think they'll take it harder than the bruins fans did. Hopefully Montreal can take it in 5 or 6 games they looked beat up in games 5 and 6 vs Boston

my condolences to you Walken I dont enjoy winning at your expense I just enjoy it as a brainwashed habs fan

Former Boston Bruin, Mike Gillis, is now the new Canucks GM.

Brian Burke is staying with the Ducks. Why would anyone want to go to Toronto??

No hockey tonight.... what am I going to do tonight?! :(

What?! I don't know how anyone could hate the Canadiens. Especially after all the media coverage their rival, the evil (and totally shitty) Maple Leafs get. Hate the Maple Leafs!!!

they play a very annoying style of hockey.

If the Canadiens were in grade school, they'd be the kids who would tap you on the shoulder 500 times in a row, saying "is this annoying? is this annoying? Am I annoying you?", and when you finally snap and push their hand away, you get in trouble...

They're a bunch of divers.

God I hate the Habs

Ummm winning is an annoying style of hockey? Is it their ability to score timely goals that bother you? Or their goaltenders skills at stopping pucks? :dontgetit

Just kidding :cheekkiss

no, it's the antagonizing play without wanting to fight. And the diving. And the only way they could score against Thomas was to bombard the net by pushing players into him.

Basically, they're the cheapest brand of hockey. All flash, no grit.

But I think you're a cool guy.

Every team has players that dive. I can remember numerous times in that series that Boston players dived. I'm not a brainwashed Habs fan (I'm a brainwashed Canucks fan), so I can say this without a "omg-I-love-them" bias or "omg-they-beat-my-favorite-team,-those-jerks" bias, they are a fun team to watch play, with a lot of good scorers. If you don't like them, then don't ever watch the Wild, that'll anger you beyond belief.
