wilcohead
Its like new life is being breathed into this album for me. Sometimes it surprises me how nice and warm a new vinyl record sounds.
HighFives
word the first one is so perfect for vinyl. I wish some how the wilco book would get put on an LP.
bobbob1313
Yeah, but the Wilco Book cd is like, not good at all. So, it probably won't be.
aricandover
Yeah, but the Wilco Book cd is like, not good at all. So, it probably won't be. I love it, but I don't see any reason for it be on vinyl.
HighFives
I love it, but I don't see any reason for it be on vinyl. I like the wilco book cd more than I like AM and Summerteeth combined.
H to the ickle
I like the wilco book cd more than I like AM and Summerteeth combined. That's absurd.

LouieB
That's absurd.Uh yea.....considering it mostly just foolin around....
TCP
The Wilco Book CD is pretty good. As good as Summerteeth? Uhh I wouldn't say so, but it's still a great listen. "Pure Bug Beauty" is one of the best things Wilco ever put to tape.
tongue-tied
i would buy the Wilco Book LP, especially if it came in a jumbo size Wilco Book.
W(TF)
What a completely hijacked thread.
HighFives
its better than sky blue sky too but not combined with anything other albums.
Guest Alan
its better than sky blue sky too but not combined with anything other albums.1. that post doesn't even make any sense. 2. if you like that POS better than 3 of wilco's proper albums, then i can't understand how you're even a fan. tongue-tied
fans are allowed to have preference. it seems less fan-like to call a release a POS.
Guest Alan
fans are allowed to have preference. it seems less fan-like to call a release a POS.well i certainly wouldn't call the wilco book cd a "release".
tongue-tied
it doesn't matter to me what you call it, but they did officially release this music with the intention for people to hear it.
SarahC
2. if you like that POS better than 3 of wilco's proper albums, then i can't understand how you're even a fan.that's a bit harsh, dude... back on topic... i am going to spin the records back to back in a bit... HighFives
I didn't realize my taste in music was so offensive.
Guest Alan
it doesn't matter to me what you call it, but they did officially release this music with the intention for people to hear it.though it wasn't recorded with the intention for people to hear it. it's some fun experimental/free form stuff, but it's not what wilco thrives at. (obviously I mean IMO don't want to start any more lil hissy fits)

"AGIB-contender" comes up a lot. they didn't pay for studio time to record songs they planned to bin. they planned a whole record in this fashion. that changed into AGIB, but from the disc in my Wilco Book, they found the earlier stuff interesting enough to share. tongue-tied
by the way, i have both Loose Fur records on vinyl and they sound great.

Maggie
I Just last night put in an order for both Loose Fur LPs. I don't own either album on CD, so I'll be hearing both for the first time on vinyl. Can't wait until they arrive!
mpolak21
I love the Wilco Book CD. I think Diamond Claw, Pure Bug Beauty, Barnyard Pimp and the Soma Hummingbird are up there with their best work. Personally it's my favorite era of the band, and I'd have loved to have seen them continue to stretch in that direction. I need to get Loose Fur on vinyl, it's one of my favorite records. --Mike
