I'm not too familiar with his stuff, but this seems to reinforce my listening to much the same style of tough-Garage-y-drinking-music. and umm, your search has been aided so to speak. I believe one of their songs even graced a recent Nissan commercial. Lead singer is a Doctor/ex-Navy jet pilot and had his 'Iceman' nickname stolen by the Top Gun writers. I'm not lying.
