Wilco Worshipper
Carly Sang Total Eclipse of the Heart. Kristy sang God Bless the USA ("I'm proud to be an American, where at least I know I'm free..."). Simon nailed the critique on that one, with "that was the cleverest song choice we've had in years". Ooohhhh...thanks!!!
ction
That one kid with the dreads looks like a muppet.
watch me fall
I just can't listen to that song without thinking about the movie Old School: "I fuckin need you more THEN EVA" That's the best version!
lamradio
That one kid with the dreads looks like a muppet. Yeah, but the teenie girls love him.. That's the only reason he has survived this long. That's the best version! I know right! My band tried to cover it live one time (on the spot, no rehearsal) and it completely went to shit.. Mostly because we were all drunk and laughing our asses off..
gogo
Yeah, but the teenie girls love him.. That's the only reason he has survived this long. It's not just the teen girls. He's a totally do-able muppet, if I weren't old enough to be his mother.
Lammycat
The dread kid does weird shit with his mouth and eyes.
Wilco Worshipper
The dread kid does weird shit with his mouth and eyes. idk...his eyes do sparkle. But his mouth, DEFINITELY, he kinda twists it as he sings. To me it's like nails on a chalkboard...ugh!!! FYI: Sparkling eyes do NOT make him a do-able muppet in my eyes, just a comment is all EDIT: Not that wanting to do a muppet is wrong or anything.
ction
He looks like the lovechild of The Count and Jar Jar Binks.
Lammycat
EDIT: Not that wanting to do a muppet is wrong or anything.I'd probably nail Janice though she could stand to bulk up a bit:
gogo
He's like a young John Travolta, damn it!!! I like the thing with the mouth, too. I've been crushing ever since he did that Andy Gibb song during 70s week.

Lammycat
Wow. I was way off. I apparently have my finger on the pulse of nothing.
WilcoOfTheDay
Poor Chikezie... I know, he's wasn't deserving yet. I admit, I downloaded David Cook's Billie Jean off of iTunes today....but I thought it was great...but I do agree he shouldn't have gotten that much praise for being risky since it was a cover of a cover to being with... Can't wait for next week, even if it is Dolly Parton week
Wilco Worshipper
Can't wait for next week, even if it is Dolly Parton week I'm hoping Michael Johns can pull SOMETHING off with this
Duck-Billed Catechist
Wait, do people seriously not think that Dolly Parton is a good songwriter?

Wilco Worshipper
I thought Michael did a SMASHING job!!! Who sang that song originally?!? Did Dolly or did she give it to someone else?!? My girls kept laughing everytime he sang "sexy" And tho I'm not normally a big fan, I think Syesha did a great job! Wait, do people seriously not think that Dolly Parton is a good songwriter? My bad for not catching that the 1st time
Lammycat
Syesha was overkill and Cowell was dead on when he noted she went down hill switching over to the whitney version mid-song. Ramiele is almost non-existent up on stage. Going through the motions. My pick for being booted off. Or Syesha. Yeah. Syesha.
watch me fall
Did anyone sing Jolene? I love that song.
Wilco Worshipper
Did anyone sing Jolene? I love that song. Yup, I think it was Brooke. It was the first one.
