LouisvilleGreg
Alright, so what should I expect out of you'll? Two hours pre-showtime? First thing in the morning, camping out front all week to save on hotels? I know a few nuts on here who will probably be there way, way early. Will you gauge it day by day based on the weather? Looking forward to seeing and meeting many of you'll. I know no one in Chicago, so a few buddies would be nice. Talk to everyone soon, Greg

sizzle
I plan on going out there at about 1pm Friday, I'm flying in that morning. Fingers crossed that I will be able to get a good spot in line! I have a feeling there will be quite a few peeps out there.
cryptique
The Riv is general admission/standing, right? I mean, is getting in line early really going to make that much of a difference? Unless you want to stake out good seats in the balcony...
VenusStopsTrain2
I'm just hoping if i keep calling Louie 'dad' he will save me 2 spots near him...
nalafej
Forecast is for a high of 23 low of 16 with snow. Have fun waiting outside for 5 hours! I don't think most people will be lining up more than 30 mintues in that weather. Yes the Riv is GA, but if you get there early and can park in the front row of the balcony or on the rail. I always feel like if I go to a GA show I can never see anything if I am too far back. I guess I will wait and decide when I get to town.
Szabo
It doesn't matter where you are in line, it doesn't guarantee your spot anywhere in the Riv. Anyone could easily take that spot from you when you go to the bathroom too.
virtualreason
Forecast is for a high of 23 low of 16 with snow. Don't believe forecast models for temps in winter. Within 2-3 days, they're pretty accurate, but they don't take into consideration snowfall and the extra cooling that accompanies it very well. I'd bet for temps Friday to be 20/10. alison the wilca
I'm not waiting in lines for these with the exception of maybe saturday. i just want a seat in the balcony anywhere i can see. Â it seems that if you were going to go through the trouble of waiting in line, you wouldn't want other line-waiters to know when you were getting there.
VenusStopsTrain2
Dude with the weather the way it's been this week...yes I live 3 hours west of Chicago....there's no way on earth i'd want to get there much earlier then i need to be there. I mean I would love to be up front and basically lust after the guys..but I just don't think I want to deal with the horrid weather.
Jimmy Coulas
I am content with a balcony seat! There is no point in getting squashed down on the floor.
Chris_H_2
Hopefully it's nothing like the Vic run in 2005 when people stood in line for an hour after the doors were supposed to open. I got there a half hour before doors, stood half-way around the block, and still had to stand there because of the delay in letting people in. I'll be damned if I stand there for hours in 20-degree weather this time around.
oceanman
I'll bring the coffee and dog nuts if you save me a spot. Nels side crew represent.
Analogman
I have never stood in line ever - until I went to Chicago - It was interesting. OF course, it got us next to the stage - but there was also a dude standing next to us who had showed up right as they were letting people in.
