W(TF)
Yes. I also thought Jeff saying "awkward" was........awkward. He needs to use a Charleston drawl. sorry...couldn't resist
ShuckOwens
At the show's peak, Weird and Akward used to describe throw-away sketches that were banished to the last 1/2 hour of the program. These promos reflect (IMHO) some of the half-thought out ideas that make up most of the night now.
Thurston Howell III
Yes. I also thought Jeff saying "awkward" was........awkward. It was. The texting one works better. Gotta remember to set the DVR ...

watch me fall
Does anyone else think the band texting is hilariously weird? I keep watching Nels. He's a few seconds behind everyone else.
kimcatch22
I keep watching Nels. He's a few seconds behind everyone else. I keep watching John go back to texting a little before everyone and then crack up right at the end.
TheMaker
Shuck, there doesn't seem to be anything humble about any of your opinions. When he's that correct, he doesn't need to be humble. I'll be watching Wilco's clips on YouTube, rather than brave the terrifying waters that the crapfest called SNL has become.

However, last week's show was great. Pent-up, writers strike output? Maybe? I have always liked a sketch or two along with the news bit (especially with Tina Fey). The show isn't quite as bad as people try and make it out to be.
DAngerer09
Last week's opening scene with the debate with pretty hilarious, as was Mike Huckabee's appearance.

Analogman
I don't think I have watched the show for years - I am not into staying up late anymore. I figure if the Wilco segments get put up on YouTube, NBC will have them taken down. Daily Motion is an alternative - or maybe it will be up on the SNL website? MattZ
SNL must be the most popular show that everyone hates. Sort of like the restaurant with terrible food. And small portions.
Analogman
Do you have a VHS Grandpa? Yes, but I don't leave things on when I am not using them or awake - except for the alarm clock and icebox.
OOO
Yes, but I don't leave things on when I am not using them or awake - except for the alarm clock and icebox. If I don't happen to catch the show tomorrow, I will get it from "somewhere" and edit out all the non-Wilco related parts, if you would like, and then put it on "yousendit" or "sendspace"

Sir Stewart
SNL sold out when Buck Henry tried to get Belushi to pronounce "wolverines."
