Tom, I thought you and your wife were going to be there tonight, too! Jenny told me on the way home that you weren't. I'm sorry we didn't get to talk much.

We thought we'd said goodbye to everyone on our way out, but it occurred to me after we left that we hadn't found you, and possibly a couple of other folks. :ohwell

I'm sure we'll catch up at another event. Thanks for the posters! They're going to the framer this week. :worship

I know there is photographic evidence -- somewhere -- that Melissa and I were at the party, but you'll have to get that from Leo (and I know someone else caught me off guard before I could dodge the dreaded lens).

It was great to see everyone! I hope to see all of you again soon!

Now I'm off to read about last night's show...

:yay

Great shots, Morgan!

Does anyone remember whose camera has the picture of the curly haired/blue shirted trio? Wasn't there a red-haired one, too?

edit: nevermind, somehow I missed E-Sue's post. I'll check hers...

# 96 proves why ted was kicked out of the club.

:rotfl That was exactly what I thought when I saw #96! You know you're in trouble when you get kicked out of the Wilco club for drunkenness.

I like those curly-haired girls in Liz's photos. (edited to add - that's the one, Kim, but you've probably figured that out.)

Liz and Morgan, excellent photos! Everyone looks so damn happy at the LRS. :yay

OMG, #80. :huh Thanks for capturing that moment, Morgan! :lol

Also, I had NO idea you were videotaping...wow. That's some quality singing. :heehee

On Friday night I added at least 15 of you to the list of VCers I've met! :D

It was a pretty terrific time -- I just wish we could have stayed later. We get up at 5 AM most days (4 AM Chicago time), plus we'd been on the road for much of the day, so by the time we left we were barely able to keep our eyes open. Consequently, we missed the guitar freakout in the basement during which most of the pictures were taken.

Thanks again to Morgan & family for hosting, and to all of you for being there and making a couple of horrible introverts feel comfortable. :cheekkiss

I was very glad to have met you two!! Can you tell me the name of that vegan Korean place again? I was trying to tell Kate but couldn't remember the name... it sounded like something I could rope her into trying!

Amitabul.

It's not really close to anything (except Superdawg).

The webpage says they offer cooking classes, but I'm pretty sure I heard the owner tell someone that they're not doing that anymore.

It's not for everyone, but if you're not deterred by the mere concept of vegan Korean food, you might love this place.

I just wish they were still down on Southport, where they were much easier to get to. I'm guessing the rent got to be a bit much for them.

Edie just called me, but I was on the other line. I haven't been able to get back in touch.

Hey, that was me on Edie's phone! I told her to tell me if you called back, but I'm not sure that I ever saw her wine glass empty..... :stunned
