Edie
I have called a press conference for 1pm EST. I will be announcing that I have formally shifted my allegiance from HRC to BO. It is time for her to drop out. It's time. I disagreed with everyone calling for her to drop out over the last month or so. I don't disagree any more.

Reni
The loathing I feel for her is growing exponentially, on a pretty much hourly basis. I am glad we don't have cable anymore - else I'd likely be glued to all the news channels, spewing obscenities at the television until I had to be dragged away by men in white suits......now, I just listen to the birds - it's much nicer. fickerson
I'm pretty sure she's only staying in it so that she can earn back the money she lent. A fitting end to an increasingly disingenuous run. I will be volunteering for Obama in the fall, and I'm very much looking forward to it!
Panther
I think she should drop out aswell but of course I think that, I wouldnt expect her to though she probable still believes if she publicaly destroys Obama she has a shot. I expect it to either get uglier or simply end your chocie Mrs. Clinton put your country over yourself thats not to much to ask is it.Don't take the chance of hurting your party now because your strong position against the war is more important. On a side note, holy crap Barrack Obama has a definite real chance to be president this is awesomly insane. I know he's had mommentum and all but now its real.
mountain bed
I have called a press conference for 1pm EST. I will be announcing that I have formally shifted my allegiance from HRC to BO. It is time for her to drop out. It's time. I disagreed with everyone calling for her to drop out over the last month or so. I don't disagree any more. You know, HRC's supporters have every right to have the chance to vote for her in the remaining primary states. And I suppose HRC has every right to hang in until June 3 for those folks. But what it boils down to for me is what kind of campaign she's going to run for the next 25 days. If it's the kind of campaign she ran in PA or OH I'd say there's no point in that anymore - it will just hurt the party and reinforce the idea that she's a bitch who can't let go (right or wrong, that will probably be the perception). If she takes the high road and saves the venom for the current Administration and their policies then full steam ahead. The time for healing needs to begin now, regardless if she's in or not. 180 days, folks. 180 days till the shit finally goes down.
theashtraysays
On the positive side, I can't remember the last time that Kentucky actually kinda mattered in a primary....

Obama: Wolf, I think Sen. Clinton is going to win there.Wolf Blitzer: Why is that?Sen. Obama: Well, she is going around telling people she will stop mountain top removal, and promising them running water, and free NASCAR tickets for life. Plus, her husband, President Clinton, is going around making speeches there right now. I think he is really looking for girls for the strip club he is going to open, Wild Bill's Strip Club and Cigar Bar®. Wolf Blitzer: I see.

Analogman
Running water? Bill's strip club? I just put my house up for sale. Can you put me up (or put up with me) for awhile until I get situated? Yes, you can sleep with the bugs.

uncool2pillow
... and it begins. Damn, the GOP is good. http://net.gop.com/canweask/I'd say about the first half of that ad is fair and focused on important issues. The 2nd half, pretty typical but nothing horrible. I'm sure the commercials w/ Rev. Wright and the Weather Underground are soon to follow, though.

Sweet Papa Crimbo
Such are the pitfalls of a messianic campaign. That's the term I have been searching for: Messianic. There is no way that Obama can live up to the hype and hope that has been heaped on his shoulders. He's been touted as the second coming of JFK, RFK, FDR and MLK times two. A lot is being projected on a one term senator. And to quote a famous dissenter to another messiah "They'll hurt you if they think you've lied". (Always did love JCSS...Ian Gillian and Murray Head...)
Beltmann
... and it begins. Damn, the GOP is good. http://net.gop.com/canweask/Strangely, I can answer all of those questions, partially because Obama has already answered them all, some with great frequency. If the GOP doesn't already know the answers, then that points to their own ignorance. Wait, these are rhetorical questions, you say? Questions intended only to smear and raise doubts? Oh, I see: Politics as usual.
SlowBurn68
The problem with politics and the media establishment blah blah blah, is generational. Things will be much better when people in their mid 50's to early 70's etc. start dying off. There is nothing left for these people - the best part of their lives are over and today was as good as it's going to get for this shit-bag generation. I hope it's painful for them.
