jenbobblehead
And now the NYY/RAYS game is being broadcast in Spanish. Anyone else with the EI package been experiencing this shit lately?no, but we did miss most of the white sox series because our EI was down last weekend. How crazy that you're getting the Beunos Noches Amigos version. Have you called the cable company to say "Commo sa fuck?"

PigSooie
Seriously? The Rays/Yanks game was on ESPN last night. I haven't had any problems with it on EI channels. Did you try the SAP button mentioned earlier?

Did you try the SAP button mentioned earlier?I forgot about ESPN. I tied the SAP button. This is the third time (twice with NESN and last night with the Rays broadcast) in two weeks it's happened. It only effects one game at a time, though. I guess I either need to call Comcast or learn Spanish. I think it's weird that it's apparently only affecting me, though. I know this is usually a last resort, but call Comcast. Vibes in advance.
cryptique
This may be a red herring, but do you run your cable through a VCR? I believe our VCR has a SAP feature, so if I have the VCR on and accidentally have SAP selected I'll hear stuff in Spanish even if my TV isn't on SAP.

But why would that affect just one station? I'll look into it, though. Thanks. Buenos dias, amigos.

Moe_Syzlak
I'm hearing people say Zambrano is done for the year, but I can't find any confirmation. Is this just over-zealous Cubs fans or should I be worried?

Guest Jules
I'm hearing people say Zambrano is done for the year, but I can't find any confirmation. Is this just over-zealous Cubs fans or should I be worried?I doubt it, for now. He was throwing 94 the other night. Something is going on, but I am guessing (hoping) he just needs a longer rest. Something is going on, but I am guessing (hoping) he just needs a longer rest. i hope you are right. the cubs need either harden or zambrano healthy to have a chance to advance. when does a "tired" arm become a "dead" arm? edit: good news? CINCINNATI -- An MRI on Thursday revealed Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano has rotator cuff tendinitis in his right shoulder, and he is not expected to start again until the series finale in Houston on Sept. 14. Cubs manager Jim Hendry said the MRI confirmed the diagnosis by team orthopedic specialist Stephen Gryzlo, who did a physical exam of the right-hander on Wednesday. Zambrano received anti-inflammatory medication and will be sidelined for a few days. Hendry said the right-hander should resume throwing next week when the Cubs are in St. Louis. "We look at hopefully getting him a start the last day of the trip in Houston," Hendry said. Zambrano had taken himself out of his start Tuesday against Houston after five innings because he was feeling discomfort in his shoulder. In that game, he threw 86 pitches over five innings. Zambrano was placed on the disabled list in June because of discomfort in his right shoulder. He is 13-5 with a 3.58 ERA in 27 starts this year. Zambrano's next scheduled start was to be Sunday in Cincinnati, but left-hander Sean Marshall will take Zambrano's place.
