solace
i just saw an almost 63 year old man put on the best show i've ever seen in my entire life (gotta be closing in on 1000 shows at this point, if not already over) (my best attempt at a setlist, may not be 100% accurate order wise, but i don't think i missed any songs at least) Love And Only Love Hey Hey, My MyEverybody Knows This Is NowherePowderfingerSpirit RoadCortez The KillerCinnamon GirlHelplessMother EarthThe Needle And The Damage DoneUnknown LegendHeart Of GoldOld ManGet Back To The CountryJust Singing A Song (new)Sea Change (new)When Worlds Collide (new)Cowgirl In The SandRockin' In The Free World A Day In The Life after those first 3 songs i knew we were in for something different than i'd normally experienced at the last few Neil shows, but it just kept coming. f'n Cortez 6 songs in? and the run from Helpless to Old Man was just ridiculous. then Cowgirl?????? 2 of those 3 new songs are quite good too. not only was the setlist ridiculous, but Neil was playing like a man possessed ALL night and ended A Day In The Life by ripping all the strings off 'Old Black' I live streamed 2 videos during the show as well: 'Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere' 'Cortez The Killer' audio is surprisingly good for my iPhone i think... Wendy
"Needle and the damage done" ???? Damn! Kyle, how awesome NY got the #1 spot in your illustrious list. Thanks for the videos. Can't wait for the Detroit show.
kagee
Neil can still deliver the goods. I saw him in Dublin in June for the 6/7th time and he was just amazing.

Doug C
That setlist is.. is.. indescribable1 A 'hits' show tour from Neil Young. I last saw him on Greendale. I rue that he isn't playing anywhere near the F-L-A. AAARGH!!!
miss jayne
Kyle how wonderful....beautiful setlist !!!! Gaia bless Neil Young. He always brings it, however I love when he gets that "crazy horse" vibe going. You know last night was the full moon so you got that side of Neil too And Day in the Life...well aren't we blessed to be able to see that? Just the stream from Farm Aid blew my mind thanks for the videos.
Preferred B
Sounds amazing, Kyle. I concur about the streaming set from Farm Aid (I saw the one a couple years back) blowing my mind. I'm not going to get to any of his proper shows on this tour, but I will see him (from kind of crappy seats) acoustic at Bridge School next weekend. No ZZ Top, though, so I may not go after all. Dreamin'
Wasn't it a full moon last night? I spent my life savings on 2 tickets to the Vancouver show next Wednesday. Hopefully he won't cancel it.

bobfrombob
... the best show i've ever seen in my entire life ...Not that I didn't already think that a Wilco/Neil show was a pretty good idea, but if we get anything approaching this in Ottawa, my head might explode. Thanks for the setlist/review and video.
