John Smith
OK so say you are the school board/administration and you ask for $10 million for new facilities and to hire more teachers for the growing student population. In and of itself quite a respectable request. The problem arises when once the voter

Mrs. Peel
I just had a random thought. Wouldn't it be so much more exciting to watch debates if each candidate had a laptop in front of them, queued up to Google? Then when McCain comes out with the "do you really want to vote for someone with questionable ties to ACORN?", Obama types "McCain ACORN" in Google Images and BAM!!!.....busts out the pic: No matter which side was doing the Googling, I'd find it endlessly entertaining to watch the other side confronted immediately with their accusations. Mrs. Peel
Oh man, could the timing have been any worse? I'm sure she gave it all she had to stick it out just one more day. RIP, Grandma.
LouieB
Obama's grandmother passed away today That is very sad.....makes me tear up actually. I was also sad that Studs Terkel passed prior to this election. I am sure he was looking forward to seeing Obama win as well. LouieB

I am sure Bill Ayers never had any idea he would be this famous. Hell he wasn't this famous in the 60s/70s as he is now. LouieB
John Smith
And spoke at an ACORN event. Details, details Obama's grandmother passed away today I feel bad for him, to have such sadness one day and possibly such joy tomorrow. Too bad she did not live to see tomorrow. viatroy
It's kind of funny that you post this as people I know already will not acknowledge an Obama presidency because they are stealing the election through ACORN. Afterall McCain said so. A devastating article on Sunday destroys the GOP's claims of "voter fraud" as a member of McCain's own (amusingly named) "Honest and Open Election Committee" has admitted that Republicans are unable to cite a single "documented instance of voting fraud that resulted from a phony registration form." read it here I don't McCain really has the stomach for the nasty shit done in his name. I may be wrong.
Mrs. Peel
I don't McCain really has the stomach for the nasty shit done in his name. I may be wrong. I'd really like to think so, because if he wins and continues to behave the way his campaign has been behaving, it won't be good for anyone. I really want the old McCain if I have to have any McCain at all. I remember a time when I was saying I'd be okay with either candidate, but that time has long since passed.
