bold992003
So weird I just listened to this album this morning for the first time in like 2 years. I feel the same way whoever wrote this does. I can also see Tweedy loving U2. Their early stuff was great but ATYCLB is also a solid album.

mountain bed
The Joshua Tree was certainly overplayed, but has since secured its place head and shoulders above all other '80s music.A very bold statement, young man.
Sir Stewart
A very bold statement, young man.Ha, not really.
mountain bed
I believe you might have forgotten about the musical stylings of one Mr. Phil Collins.

Dude
I forgot to have my annual playing of "October" last month. That's a pretty crappy album to be forced to listen to on an annual basis.

Sir Stewart
I like it more than you.You like it more than he does, or you like it more than you like him? Dr Pepper?
bjorn_skurj
You like it more than he does, or you like it more than you like him? Dr Pepper? Not really sure. That's a lot to think about. I like "War" better than "Achtung Baby," if that helps.

Guest Jules
I get it. It's November now, so maybe he listened to November Rain kind of like he usually listens to October in October. I get it. CrushOfVeils80
I'm going to have to disagree with that. October is one of my favorite U2 albums. It runs out of steam during its second half, but the first side is stellar. And you have to love Clayton's hair on the cover. wow we agree on something, I like October a lot, very underrated

What you find stellar, I feel is the musical / lyrical equivalent of having this done to you. But that criticism could be applied to all U2 records to some degree.
