yeah - it certainly sounds more NPs than his last one. And then Catherine Calder and John (the NP Bassist) are showing up in the Neko Making Of Youtube.

I guess when you need help you call on your friends.

held off listening to these guys. No good reason, but I really like this now.

Since this just came out, this is as good a time as ever....(not appearing on anyone's top 10, but I sure like it too...)

Guest Hollinger.
nick cave - boatman's call

this is the only nick cave album i come back to. weird.

It has Idiot's Prayer, which alone is enough to come back to the album.

Let Love In, Murder Ballads and Boatman's Call is such a great run of albums.

Yes, it's great stuff. Almost like they didn't skip a beat during hiatus.

Cool - I finally saw them in 2007. It was in Detroit and there must have been, ahh, maybe 40 people there.

I love going through people's best of lists at this time of year. I have missed or too quickly gone through too much stuff.

Sebastian Grainger and the Mountain. This is also sounding pretty good.

Matt Caterer works at a record store in Chicago and I met him there last year.

He told me then that they were working on a new record; glad to hear that it's a good one. He was a pretty nice guy and I like the band.
