Beltmann
Excellent, can't wait. Everett's in my top five; it's rare that a week passes without me listening to one of his albums.
mpolak21
Electro Shock Blues is one of the greatest albums ever, I loved his book as well. Looking forward to this one. --Mike
dondoboy
Check out the web page. That would be a pretty mean album cover.Eels
bigideas
those glasses and weird space shuttle structure on the left makes it look like the future... lots of bleeps and bloops on this record maybe?
remphish1
Sweet...I met E a few years back. He is certianly one of a kind. Can't wait for the album!

Wild Frank
Tracklist and Album art-work are now up on the Eels website. Not too sure about the album cover, but apart from 'Electro-Shock Blues', they've all been pretty average designs. Looking forward to the new tunes though. G.

Wild Frank
I really liked the Blinking Lights cover. Yeah, fair comment. That was a nice package. There was a great Vinyl version in the Eels store recently with lots of extra goodies. Very pricy though. G.
dondoboy
I'm super interested in this album. Its got to be intimidating to record an album after something like "Blinking Lights.."
bigideas
I'm super interested in this album. Its got to be intimidating to record an album after something like "Blinking Lights.." really? i thought it was pretty good, but would probably have been better as a single album. Wild Frank
really? i thought it was pretty good, but would probably have been better as a single album. Definately would have been better with a bit of editing. Saying that, there are very few 'double albums' that I don't think would have benefited from a bit of quality control. 'Being There' is an exception of course! (apart from King-Pin...which is rubbish!).
dondoboy
really? i thought it was pretty good, but would probably have been better as a single album.I got caught up in it. The album, then the tour with strings, I played it every day. It just struck some chord in me. I've never really had another album have such an impact on me as an adult. I really couldn't tell you what it was or is about it even. It still flattens me. Knocks me out. Those albums come along for everyone at some point I think.

Scalzunfield
Not sure I'm a fan. It's just kinda blah. Maybe on repeated listens I'll feel different but right now I"m not terribly enthused.
solace
creepy. i like it

Wild Frank
There's a new documentary titled 'Tremendous Dynamite' up on the Eels Myspace page. It's a half hour documentary on the making of the new album, 'Hombre Lobo', due out in a couple of months. I've not checked it out yet (Myspace is Blocked at work ) but it sounds interesting. Yeah, I find myself really loving some of E's album (Electro Shock, Daises, Blinking Lights) and then not really getting into others at all (Souljacker, Shootenany) and I think this one might be in the later category. Still, he's an artist whose stuff I always want to check out as soon as it's available, and all of his albums have had at least one song I have really enjoyed. --Mike. I've not checked it out yet (Myspace is Blocked at work ) but it sounds interesting. all i saw was a 2 min trailer - is the whole thing up there, too? the song in that trailer - the title track i presume - isn't too great. sounds like something that could have been on Shootenanny! - which i don't care too much for. pretty basic rock more or less with kinda hoaky lyrics. that cut Agony on Shootenanny! is great though.
