Moss Posted July 4, 2009 Share Posted July 4, 2009 Just got back from the show myself. It rained and hailed on the way there. Had absolutely perfect weather during the concert. Then hit a huge rainstorm on the way home which slowed things down. It was a good long show and I thought sounded fantastic. I was sitting in the 10th row and I thought the sound was great. I thought one nice highlight was Okkervil River joining the band for a nice version of California Stars. Jeff twirling his mic and completely missing the catch at the end during Hummingbird was pretty funny. Bull Black Nova sounded as good live as I had hoped it would. Band seemed to be loose and having fun. Nels just played his ass off all night. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
