theologians
I realize the album has not even technically been released yet...but...The new album has been on repeat for me since it leaked a little less than a month ago. Don't think it will ever be considered one of the "best" wilco albums but I just haven't really been able to put this thing down since i got a hold of it. For those of you who are not holding out till the end of june...are you still obsessed with WTA???
Shakespeare In The Alley
To be honest, I've kinda moved on. I still think it's a great album, and I'll definitely pick it back up closer to the concert in July, which I'm quite excited for, but I've found several other albums I'd rather listen to nowadays. Sparky speaks
I still play it but I've been listening a lot to Wilco at Toad's Place from back in Sept. 2000......The second half of the show is very The Who "Live at Leeds" sounding once the Wilco/Bragg song portion of the show is done. Jay rocks in that show. I admit when I play the new album I have a different favorite song each time. I still feel "You Never Know" is the best with "One Wing" a close second. Just wish the jam at end when they first played it live made the cut on the album.
TheMaker
I've also moved on, thanks to wonderful new records by Eels and Hayden, to say nothing of the Neil Young Archives, which I still haven't given a proper listen. I don't hate the record, though, and I was very worried that I would, based on the tepid early live versions of most of the album tracks. That's saying something, I suppose! Wilco75
i still have it in my cd changer, and my old mp3 player, i've never tired of it,i'm still excited for getting the vinyl release and cd to which i'm sure both will have a clearer cleaner sound,of course the version i have now is pretty damn good! lost highway
Yeah, I still love it. I'm no longer listening to it every day. More like I take a week off and then rock it front to back again. I think Deeper Down- BBN- One Wing is the best run on the album, but I like it all.
junkiesmile
Still love it. Trying not to listen to everyday but it will always be an album I come back to.
Guest Alan
I think I listened to it a total of 5 times and I'm done with it for now. I'll come back to it eventually. I'll probably still listen to Bull Black Nova from time to time though.
TCP
I will listen to it when it's in my hands. Can't believe some people have heard it so much they are tired of it... crazy! I haven't heard anything except for when Wilco did "Wilco The Song" on Colbert Report, and even that I can't remember what it sounded like... so I have no idea what the new album will sound like or if it's good. I've been avoiding reading the Wilco section of Via Chicago in fear of SPOILERS.

radiokills
"you never know" sounds like "the good part." kinda.

TCP
Apparently I can't read. And yes, I was feeling adventurous, you know how it goes. I actually couldn't believe the title of this topic, I did not realize it had been a month since the album leaked.
Guest Alan
"you never know" sounds like "the good part." kinda. That seeems like quite the knock on "The Good Part".
Scalzunfield
Haven't listened since approximately 5 days after it leaked. Yes, it's that disappointing of an album to me.
SGL
I liked it a lot when I got the leak, but I vowed to listen for a week or two then not listen to it until it is realeased... But it gets tougher as each day goes by lol
mpolak21
I retired it and subsequently AGIB and SBS from consistent rotation after Jay's passing in favor of YHF and Summerteeth, I plan on listening to it again soon, but I am still not quite ready to listen to Bennett-less Wilco again. I have still spun Solitiare and Bull Black Nova consistently, and I listened to My Country Has Disappeared a few nights ago. Country is a song I really feel Bennett could have made soar, it's fine the way it is, but a Poor Places-esque piano part layered in would have been wonderful. All right I don't want to start bumming everyone out... to end on a pleasant note I still smile every time I see the cover on my itunes cover flow. Â --Mike
DAngerer09
i still like most of it and listen to it often, but my feelings haven't changed much since my first few listens. still don't like you and i and country- skip those quite often.
Shakespeare In The Alley
My thing with Country is that it doesn't jump out at me, or stick in my head, but when I listen to it, I really enjoy it. It's strange. As a whole, I still love the album, but like I said, other albums are consuming me at the moment.

cooperissup3r
i've listened to individual tracks a few times, but i'm going to wait until it is released to really dig into it again.
Jesusetc84
Haven't listened all the way through in a while. "Bull Black Nova" and "Country Has Disappeared" have been getting some single rotations on some of my playlists.
GtrPlyr
I've listened to it twice, then promptly retired it. Until I can get my hands on the uncompressed audio version that is the CD, I don't want to hear it anymore. MP3s just don't cut it as a proper listening experience for me.
