DickDarlington
Was an awesome show ! Jeff was in great form, kept commenting after songs that each one related to an Irish artist, Impossible Germany to Thin Lizzy for example. There was some incident with somebody at the front, I think security took their camera off them, not sure but Jeff seemed to be talking to them or something. Overall it was great, I loved hearing Im Always In Love. Blitzen Trapper and Janet Weiss came out and played/sang along to California Stars. I think since it was a Friday night the curfew was 11.30 so we got a 2 and a half hr set. Seeing them tonight and last Sunday at Green Man one song that really stands out is One Wing, it really works live. i love it on the album but live it just seems to take on another form. Lucky man.Did you take the photography duty back ?I'll post my pictures from London soon (I even might post them on Flickr). Sam, unfortunately I didn't really take any photos at the Dublin shows. I probably should have, but I forgot to bring my camera the first night and then I didn't have a great angle of anyone but Nels last night. So I just decided to enjoy the show... Anyway, look forward to seeing your pictures. And you should definitely put some on Flickr!
Colm Dawson
Hi everyone, I'm new here. Last night's show was incredible. It was excellent all the way, but Monday and Outtasite just tipped it over the edge into sweaty, flailing brilliance.

JorgyBrussels
There was more love for them on thursday than on friday. Thursday they also played better Id say personnaly. The Irish have luck with the two amazing concerts, but what a horrible climate they have! :-)
JorgyBrussels
There was some incident with somebody at the front, I think security took their camera off them, not sure but Jeff seemed to be talking to them or something. Happened right in front of me, some kept flashing while taking pictures. Happened during 'trying to break my heart'. It was Jeff himself who grabbed camera (or cellphone) and he was very very pissed by the look on his face. During the song he came a couple of times in front to shout at him. The Irish have luck with the two amazing concerts, but what a horrible climate they have! :-) True about the climate, but then again you just stay in the pub all day and down a few barrells of Guinness. No finer place in the world for atmospheric boozers
H.Stone
Wow, another amazing setlist. It's nice seeing ...In Love on there. And "I ate grapes"
Colm Dawson
Jeff took the guy's camera during the song and a minute later he bent down and shouted something like "no photos" to him. He gave it back later and seemed good-humoured enough about it. Is it just that he doesn't like cameras in his face in the front row? He didn't seem annoyed by the cameras slightly further away. zimmerframermosher
Both shows were 10/10 in Vicar Street - 2 great nights to rememeber - decided last night to watch Ashes to try & relive the memories. I was right beside the camera incident - in fact I was taking to the guy before & after the show - basicly the guy was filming during trying to break your heart - I would see Jeff getting really pissed & staring at the guy but the chap didn't notice Jeff as he was too busy looking in the view screen, so as you already know he reached over and took the camera off him & said no filming - a few songs later he said that he would get his camera back & Jeff seemed to be abit more good natured about it. The chap got his camera back at the end of the gig.
Edie
Wilco concert policies, just in case people were wondering - though I have surely dialed friends during songs and held up my phone. # wilco does allow non-flash still photography wherever it does not conflict with venue or other restrictions beyond our control. professional photographers MUST obtain a photo pass via the label or Wilco's management or publicist. No exceptions. please be considerate of others.# we do not allow video taping, and ask that you refrain from using your cell phones during concerts.
Colm Dawson
Ah, thanks. I almost wished I'd bought a ticket for both nights.
