If you Wikipedia "Arrested Development" and go to the TV show, scroll down a bunch and where they talk about show "characteristics," it's there. "So...this is how you repay me for how I repay you?!?" Moss
Yes! The cultish legion of "Arrested Development" fans who've waited six years and counting for their beloved, prematurely canceled sitcom to return will soon be spoiled beyond imagination. Not only will all 10 new episodes be available via Netflix all at once when they're unveiled at a TBD date in 2013, but Deadline reports that all nine principal cast members—which essentially makes them the Wu-Tang Clan of comedy—are close to finalizing their deals. Shakespeare In The Alley
really mixed feelings on this. arrested development is a top 3 tv show for me, and i love it dearly, but reuniting a tv show, especially one so driven by season to season storylines, just feels like a bad idea. i'll be watching, and i'd love to be proven wrong, but i think it's a really tall order for hurwitz and co. KevinG
Screw Netflix. Why?
Winston Legthigh
Why? Screw them twice. One for their shitty streaming catalog. Two for their 30-day delay in getting new movies, added to the normal delay of competing with other subscibers for access to new movies. (What I'm saying is that if there's a new rental I want to see, I have to wait a long time to get it from Netflix. I'll just pay the $5.99 to see it on On-Demand the day it comes out.) Bonus screw for Quikster. So basically, I have no need for Netflix, other than access to new Arrested Development episodes. Perhaps I'll pay the $7.99 for a month minimum rate just to watch the new eps. I doubt it though. Screw em.
