Iowan
I own every album except Mermaid Ave Vol II, and I have never decided on what Wilco album is my favorite. They are the only band whose entire catalog I own/have heard and can't come to a conclusion like this. Part of it for me is that every album has songs that I absolutely love, and songs I don't really care for at all. YHF probably has the fewest songs I skip, but if I made I list of my Top 10 Wilco songs, about half of them would be on AM and Being There (CQ, BFOL, Outtasite, Monday). I could tell you my least favorite (SBS) but after that it would be a total crap shoot. Am I alone?
radiokills
Probably.
lamradio
Your not alone. I don't have a favorite Wilco record. It usually switches between Being There, YHF, and AGIB... Really the one I'm currently listening to is my favorite.. Except for WTA that is.. Not a bad record, but definitely their weakest IMO.

Iowan
I would say that I listen to AM-AGIB (chronologically) equally. WTA has been getting alot of spins after seeing the songs live. They really seemed to click alot more. I definitely prefer it to SBS.

Guest Speed Racer
I certainly don't think I have a favorite Wilco album, though AGIB is my touchstone if I want to listen to Wilco but don't quite know which kind of Wilco. That, or the YHF demos. My favorite Wilco album is either the one I'm listening to or the one I want to listen to next.
Sparky speaks
Don't listen to any one album usually. I have made several mixes depending on whether I want to hear acoustic type songs or electric. I do know I have listened to AGIB the least and probably won't ever listen to it much in the future. AM, Being There and SBS are the ones I turn to most when I do listen to any of their albums. I like a few AGIB songs live but the album is just noise to me. YHF and Summerteeth are a wash and WTA is just played out right now for me. I've been listening a lot to Uncle Tupelo recently but that doesn't count.
DocShock
My favorite changes day to day. Usually shifts between YHF & AGIB and sometimes BT

Beltmann
YHF and BT are my clear favorites, although AGIB and ST aren't too far behind.

froggie
i can say i'm not too fond of YHF and AGIB, but to pick a favourite from the others would be hard
Theremin
YHF is the primus inter pares.
TCP
For me it's a three way tie between Being There, Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, and A Ghost Is Born. Actually, Foxtrot probably wins because it was very important to my development as, not only a music listener, but a musician as well. It changed everything for me. Jesusetc84
Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Usually Summerteeth, but not enough so that I could consider either my definite favs. My favs list is like: Tied for first: YHF, SummerteethTied for second: Being There, A Ghost is Born, Wilco (The Album)Tied for last: Sky Blue Sky, A.M. yermom
I definitely don't have a favorite album. I usually just build a little playlist of my favorite songs from all of them and listen to that.
Sir Stewart
I guess I don't. Sky Blue Sky, but then I feel bad that I didn't say Summerteeth. Then I feel bad I didn't say Being There. Then I feel bad I didn't say Yankee Hotel Foxtrot. Then I feel bad I didn't say A Ghost Is Born. Then I feel bad I didn't say Sky Blue Sky.
Terrapin Ben
it's impossible for me to have a favorite. The three albums i listen to most are AGIB, Summerteeth, and YHF. But i listen to AM and Being there and SBS a whole lot too. I pretty much love their whole discography. Mermaid Avenue Two is probably the least listened to for me. mountain bed
For me YHF is MILES ahead of any other Wilco record. It's not even close.
