u2roolz
Did you see an episode of The Daily Show last week where Jon Stewart did a spot on impression of Beck? I think it was the day after he fell ill with appendicitis.

Good Old Neon
If you gave him and enema, he'd fit in a match box. Hmmm..now where have I seen this sort of act before... Howard Beale called, and he wants his schtick back.

Good Old Neon
The worst part, is that his performance is rehearsed, calculated and about 98% phony. There is video floating around of him rehearsing one of his teary little “heartfelt” breakdowns. People eat this shit up, which is sad, because he’s laughing at them, while, at the same time, filling their heads full of nonsensical, conspiratorial bullshit. It’s entertaining, but about as good for you as a diet consisting of little more than Twinkies, Ring Dings and to drink, a 5th of Wild Irish Rose. Fox should be forced to start each broadcast day with a disclaimer reminding folks that what they’re watching is a cynical puppet show, where what’s reported as news is largely the fictional infomercial-like reality of Rupert Murdoch. And before someone replies with, yeah, well, CNN is just as bad, well, it’s not. It too airs some ideological bullshit, but unlike Fox, they haven’t entirely foregone news altogether, in favor of blatant propaganda.

If people didn't take this shit seriously it would be fine; it is theater, but once it appears to be news, well, then it is different. LouieB

The Vapo Rub is being applied during the photo shoot so he'll have tears in his eyes. He isn't preaching, just having his photo taken. I'd guess the tears he produces during his show are not Vapo Rub-induced (see: he's a lunatic).

mountain bed
Anyone want to venture a guess on how long it is before (former) resident CNN curmudgeon Lou Dobbs shows up on Fox Noise spewing his special brand of xenophobic rhetoric?
u2roolz
He's actually going to use his likeness to take over for Hobbes the cat in Calvin And Hobbes. Calvin And Dobbs. The Sunday newspaper cartoon is the real place to indoctrinate the youth of our country. If they actually read newspapers. Oh, and you don't want to know how he gets rid of Hobbes. These networks morning shows don't really matter. It's all about primetime, and that's where MSNBC tries it's damndest to go blow(hard) for blow(hard). And, in terms of ratings, it's not even close.
