I really, really like his twisted, scumbag take on the whole alt country thing; somewhere like if Conway Twitty, Roger Miller, and Hank Williams were drinking and smoking weed (maybe shooting heroin?) with some young indie band."God Was Drunk When He Made Me" is the one that's sticking with me right now, although it's really a different song every time that I listen.
