Yeah I know. Not sure how I feel about it. Not as bad as Neil young charging $250, but not as good as Tweedy charging $45. That price will definitely keep me from going to more than one show though.

More like obscenity. A hundred bucks a pop to watch a dude play an acoustic set? Never. Never never never.

$100 is insane for an acoustic show though I did pay that once. I saw Springsteen at the Tower Theater (3,000 ish capacity) in Philadelphia back maybe 5 years ago. I had about 20th row! That was an incredible incredible acoustic show but 99.9% of the time I agree with that statement!

I didn't, as i will be out of the country for Ed's northeast dates and for the Wilco fest. Sorry to miss them both, but I'll be quite happy where I'll be. And, I won't miss spending nearly 200 bucks on EV either. In 2008, I had to eat my 2nd ticket as I couldn't get anyone to go with me - most people were happy with the one show they scored tix to... The last couple EV/PJ tours, it took me about 45 mins of server madness to finally luck out. Congrats to to you for scoring a pair, it's just gonna get harder and harder each time out.
