kidsmoke
It's been awhile since we've played any Wilco-themed games around here, so allow me to start one that I think you'll have fun with. Something my daughter likes to do when she's bored or forced to wait somewhere is to graft songs together in her head, where they have common lyrics. So she'll mentally switch from one song to the next and the next, seeing how long she can keep a chain going. Try it; it's harder than it sounds! Hard to switch tunes midstream. Anyway, this game was suggested by that one, but it's simpler. All you do is take two Wilco or Tweedy song titles and graft them together using part of each, to create a new song title. So for instance, "Hotel Arizona" + "Reservations" = "Hotel Reservations" or "I Must Be High" + "High as Hello" = "I Must Be High as Hello" I haven't spent much time thinking on it, but there must be some great possibilities with titles like ITMWLY or IATTBYH. "Remember the Mountain Bed" and "Forget the Flowers" just beg to be interchanged. "When you Wake Up Feeling Simple" (I've done that!) Ok, have at it. No adding or modifying words, you have to use them as they actually appear in the song titles. Any Jeff Tweedy-penned song is fair game.
