I assume that you mean I'm wrong. Still... it's too damn few. -

No particular order Wilco Neil Finn/Crowded House Beatles Who Rush Peter Gabriel Decemberists Flying Burrito Bros./GP Death Cab for Cutie Lyle Lovett U2 Kingston Trio Prince Jeff Buckley Old 97's Elvis Costello REM Police/Sting (more Police than Sting) Radiohead And finally, a man whom I think a grand total of zero* of you put in your lists, for which you all need to be officially reprimanded for: Johnny Cash Also, I find it ironic that the person who started this thread has REM and Phish in his screen name, and didn't list Phish. *I read this pretty quickly, so I could t -
Kelly Clarkson...and John (fucking) McClaughlin
Mr. Kinsley replied to So Long's topic in Someone Else's Song
Two things: 1- I'm so out of the loop on this. Who is John McLaughlin and what is she doing with him? Recording a song? Dating? What? 2- I'm with bobbob. You leave Kelly alone! I think she's probably the best of the female pop singers out there. She really seems to be trying to put out quality songs, despite what her record company does to make sure it's the run of the mill crap. -
a shot I took last month after a wedding ceremony in Santa Ynez (near Santa Barbara)

Twins? We should talk. Good call TM.

Not the "Oh My Cod! Wilco is selling out again and letting Chapstick use their song for a commercial!" thread I thought it would be.

OK, let's just get on with this already. When does your band play their next show? Sorry, couldn't help it. Welcome aboard matey!

They call themselves an animal "rescue" organization, yet they are perfectly willing to subject the poor creatures to Backstreet Boys.

Don't go getting your touk (sp?) all in a bunch, he said it was a big maybe.

Bruce Springsteen & the E-Street Band although I do rather appreciate the write-in vote for Captain & Tenille

Are The Beatles your favorite band ever?
Mr. Kinsley replied to Sir Stewart's topic in Someone Else's Song
Aw, c'mon now. You had to have even the slightest bit of affection for somebody on those old Laker teams? Even when he was sinking the 'baby hook' to beat y'all, Magic was pretty damn likeable. I always liked Parrish. He seemed cool. And Bird of course. Larry vs. Magic has to be the all-time best rivalry. Just so that I don't totally hijack the thread... Hey! How 'bout that White Album!!! -

Twin Power vibes... activate! We're thinking about you. Take care. -

Mr. Kinsley replied to Sir Stewart's topic in Someone Else's Song
I think they're the best, but not my favorite. Kind of like how back in the 80's watching the Lakers, Magic was obviously the best, but Kurt Rambis was my favorite. He looked like such a goof and played on pure enthusiasm instead of raw talent. You couldn't help but love the guy in the horn-rimmed glasses! -
Tweedy, schmeedy! Get a load'a Neko!
-
Boo. Maybe that means they'll be working on the new album instead?

I love the look on the face of the dude (?) to LeBron's right. "I hope none of my family and friends think I'm here with him." That must have been the quickest turnaround from 'holy crap this is awesome, I get to sit next to King James!' to 'Oh dear God in heaven he's a Yankee fan. I hate him.'

Oh my Cod. I had totally forgotten about my 6 Million Dollar Man doll! With the forearm that peeled back to show his 'wiring' and the hole in the back of the head so you could look out the telescope eye! I really wish you hadn't brought this up, because now I miss him terribly. I don't know what became of him either. My Evel Knievel dolls (I think I had all 3 - red, white and blue) are the same story. Probably ended up in a garage sale. Pushing Daisies is my new favorite show. Seeing as I haven't watched a series in years it wasn't hard for it to sneak in there, but it did take quite a bit t

I'm assuming she drives a VW.

Through no fault of TM's, others have done this before in a sort of one or two post, 'drive-by' fashion. Sometimes for things other than music, although the Slum B Que pops immediately to mind. Seeing as TM has already made 3 posts claiming that he's never coming back and several after that, I'd say he sounds like a legitimate VC member. It's really a case of others before him ruining his attempt with their ill-will, which it does seem he lacks. Just a little far on the first date is all. Damn!!! Who was that guy anyway? I know Bonaduce, the other guy.

If we could only convince that children have lots of crude oil, then he wouldn't veto it. Ooo, no. Wait. Then he'd just attack them. Cancel that. Such is the life of a one-trick president.

Our sagacity is in mortal danger.

That would make a rather awesome t-shirt.

Only because your first post was to promote your band.

There. Much better. I really would like to see the Cubs pull it off. But, they are the Cubs. As for the Angels, they're OF is too banged up which digs into their strength - the bench. By putting bench guys in to start you can't come back to them later on in the way Scosia does so well. Besides, their middle relief isn't what it used to be. NY will be tough to beat, but according to something I saw on ESPN, Cleveland matches up pretty well with them. Colorado can't win. They have those absurd sleeveless black unis with white trim around the arm hole. Cincinnati is the only team that
