  1. This unmarried person doesn't plan on ever getting married, so I don't have one picked out.
  2. I don't know if it's that same "ministry," but I know a couple of people who've been ordained for exactly the same purpose. They're still alive and have all their fingers and toes, so it can't be too horrible.
  3. If you're going to hold to that criterion, you can pretty much dismiss every elected official in the country right now. Good luck finding anyone to replace them.
  4. I changed the thread title to better reflect what he's being investigated for. The initial reports made it sound like he was actually taking part in the running of a prostitution ring.
  5. I doubt he'll resign. Hell, he'll probably win re-election.
  6. early report on CNN (not much info yet) N.Y. Times: New York governor linked to prostitution NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Times is reporting that New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer has told senior advisers that he had been involved in a prostitution ring. On its Web site, the newspaper cites an anonymous administration official as the source and says Spitzer was meeting with his top aides. Spitzer officials wouldn't immediately comment on the story to The Associated Press. An announcement was scheduled for 2:15 p.m. at his Manhattan office.
  7. I had a friend who had Intellivision, and I loved that console. I thought it was miles better than the Atari ... but the controller killed my thumbs.

The gay agenda, as these people see it, is to "recruit" everyone's sons and daughters to join the gay lifestyle, because it's really just a perverted choice with an accompanying political movement. Once they have enough recruits, they'll go about destroying America by ruining the institution of marriage, committing abominations against God, and cutting into ESPN's ratings. SNL!

Y'know, listening to it today, I'm not digging it so much. I don't think this is one that's going to stand up well to repeated listening.
  10. Haven't thought about that in a long time...
  11. I'll introduce you to Henry sometime. You'll see what I mean.
  12. If that's your cat in your avatar, he's probably been crazy since birth. I think orange cats are just that way.
  13. You people don't remember the same kinds of things I do. "I'm better at nostalgia."

    SNL!

I'm digging the record. Didn't see them on SNL and have no idea what they look like, though their aesthetic was described somewhat on an NPR profile a few days ago.

    SNL!

Funny ... I thought of Arcade Fire when I read this: I wasn't into AF, then I saw them on TV (Letterman, I think) ... and that TV performance made me like them even less, for pretty much the same reasons.
  16. I like the new dates. Hell, move 'em even more, or just go to DST permanently. Anything that results in more light later into the evening is fine by me.
  17. I have one of those at home but it no longer works. I'd love to get it fixed, if such a thing is possible.
  18. SSPs ruled: That's not one I remember, but I did have one like this:
