How do you know when you are addicted

Firefox's AdBlock extension must be doing a really good job on those ads. I haven't seen any of them. Either that, or some devious/magnificent bastard in IT programmed our web filter to block them. -
So is Bob Wills.

But he breaks like a little girl -
Is Wilco going to break if they lose? If not ...

I'd be surprised if there were more than a handful of people here who didn't know that already.

Didn't let me either, last time I checked. Whatever it is, it'll be available eventually, I'm sure.

I have no idea what this thread is about.

Cool, I'll have to check that out. When she's good, she's really good. (When she's bad, she's basically unlistenable.)

Huh. I like the lyrics. Maybe it's my Scottish roots. Nine years down the road and I remember it still Standing on the corner back in Govanhill Nine days out from home, feeling no pain That northern city sun breaking through the rain That warmthless sun barely shining on Me and you and a bottle of Buckie Nine years come and gone since I left you at home And this restless soul of mine had me starting to roam But the first time I stood by the banks of the Clyde I was so glad to have you standing back by my side I was so proud of what we were doing Me and you and a bottle of Buckie

I haven't figured out all the hate for "Bottle of Buckie." What's your beef with it? I actually quite like that tune. I'm not crazy about "Colleen," but I don't mind it.

Winamp plays FLACs. FLACs are a lossless audio format, somewhat smaller in size than WAV. The best thing to do with them is to decompress them to WAVs. In Windows, do that using something called the FLAC Frontend (Google it). If you're on a Mac, I'm not sure what you'd use. Once you have WAVs, obviously you can burn CDs. You can also use any number of programs to produce MP3s from those WAVs. Or, rip the CD you just burned. For FLAC info, see here.

I often feel compelled to point out that while this track did appear on at least one Janis Joplin hits collection, technically it was performed by Big Brother & The Holding Company.

If we can prove you wrong, will you change your name to Digitalman?

"s" tags (like "b" tags make things bold). Or, highlight the text, then click this thingie: ...and choose "Strikethrough."

That wasn't the point of my comment. Asking a question like that in a place like this isn't all that far from trolling (if it's different at all), especially when it's asked in such a loaded way. Personally, I am far from a Wilco sycophant ... I have long maintained that A Ghost Is Born was a step back for them, and it's probably my least favorite of their albums. This puts me at odds with the vast majority of people here. On the other hand, I love Sky Blue Sky, so I think they've since recovered.
