Um, no. There's nothing wrong with the way that song is mixed and mastered.

How do you know when you are addicted

When you can produce at least fifteen different emoticons just by typing the code for them. -
If you think Summerteeth sounds no different from "any '90s alt rock group," you clearly were listening to some '90s alt rock groups I've never heard of. Pardon me for saying so, but this is a really dumb question to post on a WILCO FORUM.

Living on the edge, eh froggie? In an unintentional tribute to the artist formerly known as caliber66, I had some liverwurst today. Liver grosses me out otherwise, but my parents fed me liverwurst when I was too young to be disgusted by it, and it's become a comfort food for me. I decided I was due some comfort food after yesterday's events, so I went for a sandwich made with some Oscar Mayer braunschweiger and super-sharp cheddar cheese.

My bands new album...the first review

Nice. I'm really digging "Fighting the War," but that's as far as I've gotten. I'll be sure to check out the rest later. -
Yes. Yes.

Pursuant to the Spoon thread:

Huh. That one actually looks pretty cool. I may have spoken too harshly of Gehry. What I despise from his portfolio are buildings like the Experience Music Project in Seattle -- that's just a steaming pile of elephant dung. I just browsed through pictures of several of his other buildings, and I found myself digging far more of them than I expected to.
-
I'm just glad people are talking about a contemporary architect who's not Frank Gehry. I can't abide most of that man's work.
-
Huh. That's actually in the running for my least favorite Spoon record (and I still like it -- I just like the other ones better, except maybe Gimme Fiction, which I never warmed up to very much). For me, A Series of Sneaks is their masterpiece. Girls Can Tell is a respectable second.

I was just trying to avoid red-eye in the picture. This is one time that I really wish I didn't need glasses. My nose doesn't hurt much unless I touch it, and the mere act of wearing glasses is a bit painful.

I'd be surprised if this is the final title. If it is ... well, yeah. It sucks.

Trust me, you don't want to see it without the bandage. The swelling has actually gone down a bit. Yesterday it was closer to golf-ball size. Thanks for the vibes, everyone!

The same guy designed this one in Malm

My bracket still sucks, but I did pick three of the last four teams. Now I need Georgetown and Florida to meet in the final, with the Hoyas taking the title ... I'll win my family pool that way, but only place third in teh VC pool.

I tried a couple of days ago, but it said it wasn't available yet.

Nice 100th post. Apparently you missed this part:

Yup. My apologies -- since you were the one posting supporting articles, I assumed you had also posted the original comment ... I need to look more closely at who posted what. Blaming the format war is a diversion. I believe the question in regard to this is, does one or both of these formats provide the capability to match the "warmth" and other assets of an analog format? Actually, it seems that there are two questions here: one about digital vs. analog recording techniques, and one about digital vs. analog playback formats. I have been addressing the question of playback.
