  1. This was at the Chicago Speedway, and Wilco most assuredly didn't play that one.
  2. No, it doesn't. You obviously don't understand English. Go away now, you fucking troll.
  3. I can't compete. I don't even have Walter Becker's CDs. But I did buy Kamakiriad and Morph the Cat on the days they were released!
  4. I'm not a Rose apologist by any means ... I'm repulsed by what he did -- AS A MANAGER. But as a player, he was quite simply one of the top five or ten players ever to play the game. A baseball hall of fame that omits him is rewriting history and ignoring the facts. I think he's an idiot, a scumbag, and worse ... but no one can legitimately deny that he earned it on the field, and consequently, I believe he should be in. If the folks in Cooperstown want to post warnings and cautionary tales about his later gambling anywhere his ugly mug is displayed, fine, do that. Etch the word "SHAME" in th
  5. Agreed. But he should also be in the Baseball Hall of Fame.
  6. I saw them at the Fleadh in Chicago one year, and they were a highlight of that day. Wilco didn't play that one.
  7. VCer Wendy and I went to see them last year. Awesome show.
  8. Come over to Ann Arbor sometime and we'll hook you up with the best. Reuben. evah. (#2 on the menu)
  9. I love his self-titled album, but that's all I've heard. I need to check out more. That one has the original versions of "Everybody's Talkin'" and "Dolphins," both of which have been covered a fair amount.
  10. To make this list, I think they just pasted in this month's Columbia House catalog.
  11. The RnR HOF just won't have any credibility until they induct Pete Rose.
  12. It's a list for people who don't really listen to music, but want to give the impression that they do. You know ... morons.
  13. I doubt it -- there's no Barry Manilow.
  14. True that. You don't even want to know about the 95 albums they rank higher. I know I saw Phil Collins higher up the list. Thanks a pantload, MJHutch. I'm now homicidal. edit: Ah, but so are you. Let me know if you need any help with arming that nuke. I've watched every season of "24," not to mention Goldfinger, so I know a few things.
  15. London Calling is # 96. I'm gonna have to kill somebody. edit: Blood on the Tracks is # 157. 157! I'm headed out to buy a gun now.
  16. Did you get that CD from the bottom of a box of caramel coated popcorn and peanuts?
  17. "Craptacular" is a good word for it ... though it's almost an insult to all the other things I've called "craptacular" over the years to associate them with this steaming pile of feces.
