I am at work on a Saturday morning like this:

Huh. I saw Episodes I - III, and I never remember him saying anything like that.
-
Wow, I haven't thought about that in a while. I guess I'll be dragging that one out tonight and giving it a spin.

I grew up on Roger Moore -- I saw two or three Moore films before I ever saw a Connery one. I just don't think the guy was right for Bond. He was too much a dandy, or something -- I can't quite put my finger on it. Just my opinion, of course.

Roger Moore blows. Never should have been cast as Bond. My Bond ranking: 1. Connery 2. Dalton (criminally underrated) 3. Brosnan (liked him, even though I'd always hated him before) 4. Lazenby 5. Moore

Those must be Oklahoma fans*. The Buckeyes are scarlet and gray. * - Yes, I know, technically the Sooners are "crimson and cream." Whatever. -
Possibly, but I doubt people will lose their money. Alternative energy is needed no matter what -- not because we need to cut our dependence on foreign oil, but because we need to cut our dependence on oil itself. If you believe the "peak oil" crowd, there's not much of the stuff left anyway. With China increasing its demand exponentially, and western demand continuing to rise, it won't be too much longer before we've simply exhausted the world's supply. Now, does that mean five years, a decade, twenty-five years? Well, what's the difference? Either way, we are going to need a reliable non-

Meh. If he has a house in Florida, he's probably never there. The NBA season runs from November to, what, June? And who the hell wants to be in Florida during the summer?

Sadly, he's already used My current subscription doesn't run out for a while yet, but September is a three-paycheck month for me*, so I'm kicking in now. * -

Also: remember which color shirts your team is wearing, and which goal you're aiming for.

I hope this makes it to Ann Arbor.

Though I can't speak with authority, I doubt this. He's got season tickets to the Pistons and rarely misses a game. I suppose he might have a house down there somewhere, though.

I can't stand VanderJagoff or the Cowboys. May T.O. drag them down and cause Parcells to finally retire so we can stop hearing about what a great coach he is. Yes, I'm a little hostile this morning.

Under age 4? Wow. And I thought I started early.

I like "Main Street," but the actual street that he's singing about is kind of lame. Maybe it was cool back in 1976, though.

It's also not specific to soccer. In the NFL playoffs, for example, there are twelve playoff teams -- six from each conference. During the first weekend of playoffs, four teams from each conference play, and teh awsomer teams with the best records in each conference receive a bye, so they have the week off. Last year, for example, Seattle, Chicago, Indianapolis, and Denver all had byes in the first round.
