  1. Oh sure. That's why I figured all the various twists and turns in the movie would be hashed out here already. I was bummed to see that they werent. I guess I was wondering who people thought ended up with the money, what the sheriff's dream at the end meant, whether Chiguhr was in the motel room hiding behind the door when the sheriff went in (or if he was in another room ), etc. I've seen some pretty crazy theories online that I found after I didnt see anyone's thoughts here. Theories from Moss not being dead to Chiguhr representing death, etc.
  2. I saw this movie last night and came to this thread (which I had stayed away from on purpose) hoping to find a discussion of what happened at the end, what happened in the motel room, etc. Crap!! (I loved the movie)
  3. Vocals - Twist and Shout/Beatles Elec Gtr - Revolution/Beatles Acoustic Gtr - Here Comes the Sun/Beatles Bass - Come Together/Beatles Drums - The End/Beatles Keys - Let It Be/Beatles Sitar - Norweigian Wood/Beatles
  4. Couldn't agree more, although I don't like Pearl Jam and I dont know if I was biased going in. I definitely thought Vedder (and his voice) became the focus of scenes when the landscape or something else should have been.
  5. Guaranteed that I will be thinking about this all weekend. Dangit!!
  6. And in other baseball news, Mets fans are ecstatic over the team's offseason moves. If by moves you mean photo spreads in GQ magazine.
  7. I keep seeing all these year-end lists and to be honest my list is the only list that I have no complaints about. I really nailed my own list. From 1-10, I just have absolutely no complaints about it. It's like I know exactly what I love!!
  8. I was always told not to keep that stuff in the car but not because of potential thieves/home address/etc. I think the rationale was you dont want someone who stole your car driving around with "proof" that he "owns" it.
  9. Oh sure, I know it's pretty common to trade down for more picks. But not when a stud like McFadden is staring a team in the face. It's hard to convince a fanbase to pass up a chance at a sexy name like that... It is so much easier to make the consensus pick. McFadden would certainly be the consensus there, right? Teams trade down, but I don't think it happens that often when they are staring at a consensus pick. So I meant it more as a statement that the Pats are great because they stick to their guns and very rarely will do the conventional thing. They are more disciplined in this res
  10. If this is true it proves why they are the quite possibly the greatest team ever. Damn them.
  11. This is where I go for 50% of my music needs. The other 50% is at Kim's Music and Video at 6 St Marks Place.

    STOP WHINING!

Look on the bright side: at least people aren't whining about stale setlists any more.
  13. I thought some of the points were cool. Not sure I agree with any of them, but it's always fun to hear a different take. Thanks for posting.
  14. Few days are better than "I just bought Wilco tickets" days.
  15. Holy crap. That is so freaking awesome. Row C MEZZ! See ya'll there.
  16. I dont know you bobfrombob, but I love you bobfrombob.
  17. I called. They dont have the password, they wont have the password and they can't help.
  18. Couldn't agree with you more. The report is the result of interviews with two main witnesses. The only information that this report discloses is when Radomski/McNamee started supplying/injecting these players. I have no clue why people are screaming on talk radio this morning that Clemens' incredible 1997 wasn't the result of (in part) steroid use because the report says he started taking in 1998. Unbelievable. We have no idea if/when he started. On a side note, I heard a great point on WFAN this morning about Clemens. The report says he was taking steroids at the end of 2000 to prep f
  19. Me too. I wasn't agreeing with Szabo, but I did laugh thinking about his point. It was a fair point re unauthorized recordings.
  20. As a general matter, I stick to the etiquette of not converting to mp3 and distributing, but I did laugh at your point. Imagining a taper getting upset about unauthorized distribution of a recording he/she made without authorization.
  21. The more I think about these paper trails, the more I think that there have to be a ton of players that didnt get busted here. Every player isn't stupid enough to use a personal check. This report only exposes the people that were stupid enough to get caught. I am sure there were plenty of players smart enough to cover their tracks. FWIW, there is no paper trail with Clemens. Everything is he said/she said. And it looks like Brown paid in cash but got busted on fed-ex receipts.
  22. Yeah, and I love the handwritten note from LoDuca on Dodgers stationery on page 211. He might as well have signed it "hugs and kisses!!! love, paul"
  23. Jeez. Where did you find this? Is it in the report?
  24. In all seriousness, I wonder what it will mean for the people NOT on the list. I mean, just because they arent on the list doesnt mean they didnt do it. so is everyone tainted, end of story? or is someone like ARod (if he isn't on the list) held up as an even BETTER player because he put up those numbers while not on the juice? Sigh. Such a shame that we even have to talk about this crap.
