The big O is still above 50% in many of the main polls (RCP)

AZ is now a toss-up -- pretty interesting. Ohio is now a toss-up. Last couple of days from the RealClearPolitics folks

Welcome to the board! Wilco changes minds one mind at a time!

Ha -- this was awesome! I loved the Johnny Halliday, his "hot in bed wife" and Nalin' Palin references -- plus, in french to be fair, "sarkozy" said he wanted to kill baby seals. Plus -- Neil, these threads have often been a place where we can learn about the issues and talk about them. I have learned a lot about the conservative side of the argument, and for the most part the "arguments" have been very civil. Certainly over the last week the arguments have slowed down as the handwriting appears to be on the wall. Your comment about this being mutual masturbation is pretty unfair and

I think the bridge lyrics are And this song is addicting

Really -- I would love to see the band today perform that setlist. (Yes, I know the lineup is the same but how they play these has changed significantly.)

The last line of this is just too rich

Here's what they played -- Radio Cure, PKB, and Ashes -- not to mention Be Not So Fearful, In a Future Age, Reservations and Another Man's Done Gone. It was very beatles-esque -- and I mean that in the best way. Very poppy, fun and loved the nels riffs.

Welcome home PEB

QFT I think that if she runs in 2012 she would further break up the now more delicate symbiotic relationship that the social conservatives, security neocons and the fiscal conservative republicans have enjoyed in the last 30 years since Reagan.

I voted on the 18th and waited an hour (well, the whole process took an hour I should say). I heard the lines were much longer the previous week. It always feels good to do it

Ha -- I looked in the JAF forum first this am (don't ask why I'm up) and saw that. I thought the verse about the dog was about the stupidest thing I'd ever read, and thought to myself when did Jeff get a dog Good bit. VJ is out of her gourd. BBob, I am proud of you for your reasoning I would say that even if you had voted "wrong". Obama will win north of 300 electoral votes -- probably in the 310 range.

Were you even alive then?

Holy crap -- RCP shows that AZ is now leaning McCain, instead of solid McCain. RCP map NH, being the fickle, independent place that it is, has vacilated often in the last 30 days

So what is wrong with lawyers

There's a link on the WW homepage -- one of the changing texts at the bottom left side of the page. One is also the Colbert Report appearance.
-
hmmmm... It links to a WI Obama page with no information that I could find. But this would be awesome.

Thanks for that Graham. The Zogby poll gets a lot of attention though. Anyway, here's something else that points to a big win for Obama. Why would people bother to show up to see him if they aren't going to vote for him? Certainly, its a metro area and McCain drew 2000 in a smaller city (Mesilla, NM) later that night, but still, the contrast is striking.

Bingo. I am still thinking (3). Does anyone know if these polls (in general) are tracking likely future voters or those that have already voted? I can't seem to find the answer -- and would seem to have an impact on who is winning.
