  1. I don't think I can comprehend naming a best Beatles song. It doesn't make sense to me.
  2. Alright, OSU, bring it on! Despite the final score of Ohio State vs. Navy, I am expecting a very good game.
  3. Wow Donna- the furniture looks mighty nice - super professional.
  4. Same back problems later in life, different girls.
  5. dunno if this was posted but this commercial for The Beatles Rockband is...interesting. Looks like they updated old videos with CGI and colorization, etc. John looks really creepy at one point.
  6. We (USC) decided we're going to start a true freshman at quarterback, which is the first time that's ever happened at the beginning of a season, so the guy is apparently pretty good. Still, I think the Ohio State game is going to be really tough, and his lack of experience might cost us a couple games. At any rate, If he does decent this year we'll be unstoppable the next couple years.
  7. They should have broken up back when people thought they were comparable to Radiohead.
  8. Down Under - Men at Work Mr. President, Have Pity on the Working Man - Randy Newman Casey Jones - Grateful Dead (Off the album Workingman's Dead)
  9. The 1-2 punch of Band on the Run and Jet is one of my favorite opening two songs of all time on ANY album. Band on the Run is my fave Macca album.
  10. I have the expressed, written consent of the Lord to mess with animals.
  11. I am a Paul guy through and through. I love him to death, especially all his silly stuff. I like that he is one of the greatest pop composers ever, but doesn't have to take himself seriously all the time.
  12. Yeaaaah, Jesus Camp was pretty creepy alright.
  13. I read that as well. On a similar note, I found Mike Myers to be hugely distracting in the scene he was in. Not that I thought he did bad or overacted or anything, I just felt that Mike Myers being in the scene took me out of the movie more than it should have.
  14. I loved it. I thought it was brilliantly suspenseful throughout. The first scene alone was worth the price of admission, in my opinion. I was aware beforehand that how the film was marketed was not how it was actually going to be. I had heard that much of it was in a foreign language and it really isn't about the Basterds, so I knew what I was getting into. I hope that German fellow gets a best supporting actor nomination - he was perfect.
  15. I stopped reading after that line. I've never heard anyone say that until now.
  16. Copyright is automatic. As soon as you create something original and substantial, it is copyrighted by you. It's different than the patent and trademark system.
  17. My parents are on vacation in Hawaii right now celebrating my mom's 60th, which means I have the house to myself. Thanks, Hawaii!
  18. I had never heard (or heard of) B.O.B. until today, so I think it would have made more sense to me for Hey Ya! to be #1, but I don't know anything about hip hop so I'll yield the floor to those more knowledgeable about it than myself.
  19. I assume its going to be on... Sunday morning.
  20. Unemployment dropping is a good thing, for the record.
  21. A true giant of the music world, not only for his music but also his inventing genius. RIP.
  22. Thats a made up number, really. It gets infinity miles per gallon up to 40 miles since it runs off electricity, so the EPA has to sort of make up a way for how to round that with the actual MPG it gets once the electricity runs out. And since it costs $40,000 for parts, its not going to be the cheapest car on the market. Hopefully in a couple years there will be a lot of these though.
