  1. Does anyone know if there is a password for the pre-sale for the Madison show? I don't have one and thought I should check to find out before the pre-sale starts tomorrow.....
  2. Really??? Where did you hear about that? A Madison show would be great!
  3. This is the first date that I have seen confirmed for Ryan's upcoming fall tour. Ryan and The C's are playing The Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, WI on Tuesday 9/25!!!!!
  4. Agreed....Good tune! I've always been a big fan of Isbell....good song writer. I look forward to seeing his upcoming FREE show in Madison.
  5. Sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Overture Center is a great venune! Excellent acoustics. I just saw Doc Watson there a month or so ago. I'll be there for sure.
  6. Robbie Fulks ia a lot of fun to see live! I've seen him a few times when he has played here in Madison, WI. .......By the way Robbie Fulks and Don Stiernberg are playing togther at the upcoming Sugar Maple Traditional Music Festival in Madison Wisco on 8/3 and 8/4....The Festival is a blast....I suggest checking it out. Here is the link to the Festival's site: http://www.sugarmaplefest.org/
  7. Yep, I noticed it.......and yes, it's very lame....
  8. I hear ya. The songs are there. I just think the album would have been better if the songs were recorded live in the studio, with one or two takes and minimum overdubs like Roses or JCN. I'm really suprised how much I prefer listening to the tunes during the Kingston show compaired to how they sound on EZT1GR. That being said, I've only listened to EZT1GR once, compaired to the 50+ times I've listened to the Kingston show.....I'm sure the album will grow on me.
  9. Well.......After hearing many of the tunes from Easy Tiger during lives shows that RA has been playing, I was very excited to hear the album....... This is my 2 word review of Easy Tiger......OVER PRODUCED! WTF! I still really like the songs, but what in the world was Ryan thinking recording and producing such a glossy album. If this album was produced the same way as Cold Roses and Jacksonville it would be 100 times better.
  10. I had 2 computers going at 10am and was denied tix.....I was really hoping to see this show......Oh well, I should consider myself lucky, I saw the HOB show in Jan and also saw the Town Hall run in NYC in December.... I look forward to Milwaukee in the fall.
  11. I can't find where tix go on sale for the 6/19 Chicago show. Does anyone know if it's through Ticketmaster or the venue? I'm really worried that I'm going to get shut out and not get a ticket for this one because of the lack of details and the small size of the venue. I'm starting to think I might try to get tix to MN just in case.... Any thoughts?
  12. I just saw Will play in Madison a few weeks ago. It was a treat to see him play without Centro-matic. He definitely put on a diffrent show without his full band. Be sure to get there early.....I thought Will was headlining, and he's not.....I missed the first few songs of his set. I really hope I get to see South San Gabriel play live someday......
  13. I'm not sure why Goodnight Rose did not make the cut for Ryan's new album.....It's one of his best new tunes. My only hope is that he has plans for a second album this year. Goodnight Rose is just too damn good to not release.
  14. Sweet! Sounds great. I've been looking forward to both Jason and Patterson's new solo albums. Any word on Patterson's?
  15. Sorry. I did not see it posted.
  16. From www.whitestripes.com: Hello to all the Candy Cane Children in the land, The White Stripes have completed the recording and mixing of their sixth album. It is entitled: Icky Thump and is their first album to include a title track, which curiously (and not ironically) has the same words in it's [sic] name. Though some residents of northern England might almost recognize the title, the Stripes stress they are spelling it wrong intentionally just for "kicks" and "metaphors," and to avoid a possible lawsuit from the estate of Billy Eckstine. The record was recorded in Nashville at Blackbir
