  1. All I have to say is that I don't know who to be more pissed at, the arrogant Harper or the fucking assholes who align with the separatists.
  2. Sean Avery sure pisses me off. One of the things that makes hockey great is the professionalism in the athletes... you always hear about NFL, NBA, and MLB players doing steroids or getting charged for drugs/weapons/whatever but the NHL seems to be some what (not completely) immune to that. However, Sean Avery lacks any professionalism or class on and off the ice. It's one thing to say Jerome Iginla or Sidney Crosby are boring players but he crossed the line last night by saying something personal about other players. That doesn't belong in the league. He doesn't belong in the league. Like
  3. I play them on my radio show a lot cause 30% of what I play has to be Canadian, they're a good band but all their records have a few really weaker tracks.
  4. Yeah man, Bruins are looking really good in the Eastern conference. I really wanted to see Habs do well since it's their centennial and all but then I noticed how fucking obnoxious there fans are. Booo urns. What about the Stars though? Jeeze. I doubt we'll see San Jose in the finals, they're far too good at choking.
  5. A bunch of twizzlers. Some chips and salsa. I am keeping it healthy today.
  6. I for one, am totally stoked.
  7. Sweet! I just noticed I get WGN, a Chicago station, I'm watching the Hawks play the Ducks. It's weird watching hockey from the states, you can kind of tell it's not that big of a deal, from the production value (and the fact that they talked about football in the intermission).
  8. Brian Burke now plays drums for every band that comes to Toronto. It's a new by-law that was part of his contract with MLSE.
  9. I can't believe Naslund didn't over skate that puck in the shoot out. What an asshole.
  10. Like a lot of Will Oldham albums, it all went down hill after the first song.
  11. You'd think I'd be freaking out more then I am but I am not. I believe the Canucks can sustain for a short period of time without Luongo... also there's the wild card in Cory Schneider, who has been absolutely phenomenal in the AHL this year and would probably be playing in the NHL if he was on any team other then the Canucks. 2-3 weeks and Luongo will be back, I hope.
  12. Yeah, it isn't the finest release to ever come out of the Wilco camp, that's for sure.
  13. Wrong. When the Roses Bloom Again was, in fact, released in 2002 on Jeff Tweedy's soundtrack to "Chelsea Walls".
  14. Man, Wilco needs to stop pushing their political beliefs on us.
  15. Luongo: 5 shut outs so far this season, 3 in a row, 10 minutes from breaking the franchise record he set last November. Team Canada goalie 2010, in my opinion.
  16. That's awful... gives me a bad bad feeling. Glad the Canucks didn't try anything like this when they lost Bourdon.
  17. I still remember my dad reading my brother and I Jurassic Park when I was 6. He will be missed.
  18. Okay well. JEB 2012! JEB 2012!!!! Just kidding, guys.
  19. Shanahan would be good on any team with a young core... LA, Chicago, Boston, hell maybe even Pittsburgh... purely for his leadership qualities. He shouldn't really be brought in to a team expecting to produce. Somehow I think he'll end up with the Blues though. Speaking about old players, I still think Sundin will be a Canuck. They're one of the only teams with the cap space, and a spot open (Sedin/Sedin/Bernier - Raymond/Sundin/Demitra) and a chance to make a huge impact. I'm bringing this up though cause he was at the Nucks @ Kings game last night and reportedly spoke with Mike Gillis. I d
