Turns out I can't sell my Friday ACL ticket because they only sent one ticket for all 3 days. I want to see Spoon anyway so I'll just miss the Dallas shows on Friday.

This is subject to change, but my current plan is: Wilco in Dallas. The National at ACL. My Morning Jacket (instead of Wilco) at ACL.

Yes that is quite disappointing. On some of those, I may just have to flip a coin to decide what band to see. Hopefully Wilco will play off-site, so I can justify seeing MMJ at the festival.

Sorry I missed this. Thanks for the recap. I couldn't decide between this show or Son Volt in Tulsa and in the end I had to work anyway. Bummer. I'll be in Dallas next week so I'll make up for it by seeing Menomena.

The idea of finding a mate who is a Wilco fan is appealing. Maybe we need a singles board on VC. Name it "I Am Trying To Break Your Heart."

I'll be driving down from Oklahoma with a friend who is just now getting into Wilco. This will be his first time to see the band unless they stop in OKC or Dallas first. I'd love to meet up with a VC contingent. Let's make it happen.

I doubt it. Aren't there supposed to be four other Wilco songs in the ad series?

I don't mind the songs being used, but it's just odd when they are edited (i.e., certain vocals removed). But still not as bad as the Outback commercials that completely changed the lyrics of the Of Montreal song.
