  1. Some pix on my blog. Or go to flickr and I'm samorama. Wow. Wow. Wow. Already way more amazing than last night and its not over! Holy crap.
  2. I'll try and get pix up during the break on my blog linked below. I am in nearly the same spot so they might look like last nights.
  3. we're planning on cheap dinner and hanging out at a bar called whiskey road in bucktown tomorrow night. Pm me if u need more info, or look for me otside the riv in line. I have on a pink hat with eyes and tenticles. Not to be confused with the guy with the puppy hat of course.
  4. Maybe because it takes place in Chicago? We have a statue of him here!!
  5. oh and pat played banjo on what's the world got in store!
  6. First break! highlight for me so far was can't stand it with horns! Sound is awesome. More later!
  7. that makes me feel a little better. I may even spring for the deluxe verison AND the vinyl on this one...
  8. I kinda want to hold off! No spoilers! I'm a little nervous, I read the stereogum first impressions thing and verbally it sounds good, but I swore after that last piece of shit I would never by another R.E.M. album, and I have been hard core since I was 12. The production thing doesn't worry me too much talking about a stream though.
  9. I apologize if I steer this into not Wilco related teritory... For the Sunday night off a group of us will be meeting up in the Bucktown area. Dinner somewhere affordable (perhaps Chipotle, where they play Wilco sometimes) and afterwards at this bar. They have Rock Band and/or Guitar Hero! Anyone is welcome to join! PM me if you'd like more details or to exchange contact info.
  10. you'd be just as well of taking a picture in front of any 2-5 story building on Chicago's northside. I don't think they have any giant Wilco murals outside of it or anything. You'll be none the wiser. And sadly, that picture from Down With Wilco can't be duplicated since they put a bus shelter in front of it.
  11. I'm not an orphan but if anyone is up for a Friday lunch meeting I would recommend Hot Dougs! Click on "today's specials". Friday is also one of the days duck fat fries are available. I hear the veggie dog is good if you lean that way. 2pm would be a good time, after the lunch time worker rush. If anyone is interested PM me for info. I'm also trying to come up with something fun for Sunday, at least a bar with good stuff on the jukebox. I'll keep ya'll posted.
  12. They only made a limited number... 10,000 cds maybe? Which doesn't seem that limited. I pulled that one out for the first time in a while, and at the time it was excellent, but they are soooooo much better live now that you're better off dl'ing one of the many recent shows from archive.org.
  13. Lou, are you gonna take everyone on a guided tour of Chicago Sunday?!
  14. Nope, Summerteeth. It always screws it up on jukeboxes if you try and play Candyfloss.
  15. 16. Holy crap! I had no idea Love is Hell went for that much!! If I didn't have every other dang thing RA did on vinyl I would sell it!
  17. its pretty good. Not as good as the anthology. Worth having.
  18. That 180 gram ND never came out. Wow on the colored vinyl tupelos, mine are all black. Further complicating matters are the UT singles... some black, some colored, and later picture discs.
  19. I didn't understand the voting for delegates at all. As an undecided though it was nice to give one delgate to my other choice, even though I don't understand why.
  20. The live and the bonus tracks ones are done. The video/photo one? Who knows!
  21. I love it, and the vinyl sounds great. Very stoney California 70's feel. All it needs it David Crosby
