Figure, though, at the very least, Foley- a public servant- was trying to take advantage of a young person. So- I have a special place in my heart for Califone. I know many of you do as well. Anyway, they have a fantastic new CD coming out on 10/10. And they're on tour now. When I first heard about it, I actually thought that it was a female employee. In my opinion, any such behavior is unprofessional at best and cause for dismissal. I do think it was the stupidest thing he did. I am, however, sure that the GOP knew that this would get him. Seriously. Fuckin' weird, is all. Average citizens who do things that Foley did are always crucified in the press, and then severely beaten in prison. And Foley gets moderately attempted coverup, and his actions are labeled as simple and naughty, as if this were a girly mag from 1918.
