Dashboard is a pretty weak song. If the rest of the album isn't better, I'll be similarly bitter. Not pitchfork-level bitter though, that's hardly possible.

WCMIB and ITTTIG are def. the same song, and LFRAD has def. only been played by jeff solo, if i'm not mistaken.

I expect my expectations to be shaken. John Stirratt says we don;t know what it's going to sound like, even though we think we do. I have a really, really good feeling about this record, and I anticipate it more heavily than any of my short life. I worry that it will come out right around finals and that I won't be able to get any studying done since I'll only be able to think about it or listen to it.

I don't like this song at all. I hope that the album has a lot better stuff to offer, this is totally predictable and sounds like a Funeral B-Side

Although the review indeed doesn't really focus on said concert, it is by no means a pointlessly negative piece. It captures a lot of truths regarding Meloy and the spirit of his music. In doing so this article is very effective in describing why the Decemberists put me off so severely, why listening to them is an anger inspiring experience.

??? I don't think I should be setting off any alarms by promoting independent choice making as opposed to following someone elses preferrences so staunchly. Listen to as much shit as you want if you're interested, don't be relegated to the suggestions of some message board stranger. "it's rock and roll asshole!"...I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, you're just being really ambiguous while simultaneously angry. As for GBV, I tihkn that they are quintessential, and listen to a lot of them. Bee Thousand is one of the best albums of all time, IMO.

has anyone else seen these ads for the gap that common is doing? im kind of dissapointed. i love common so much, and would never expect him to do something of this commercial nature, since his rap is so anti sellout. sigh. at least the ad i saw was in good taste, as it features him rapping, which he does better than anyone, ever.

just watched the DVD. It's really great, especially run thru and mahgeetah. the intro and ending are pretty stupid though, i think. i can't wait to see them and wilco on consecutive nights,
