  5. Yeah, it's too bad I don't really like Wilco or anything.
  6. We've got a clock that was made in 1892, some 100+ YO chairs and the boots that my mother wore for my parents wedding are nearing 130 years. None of those things belong to me, and I'm not really sure what the oldest thing that I own is....I have some of my grandfather's cuff links and tie clips that would probably take the cake.
  7. Glenn pounds the crap out of his drums/pre-programmed electronic pad....
  8. Tree spirit from the Miyazaki film "Princess Mononoke." It used to be a Corgi puppy, but I changed it because JUDE was going to beat me up.
  9. maybe this is how Mitch Hedburg got his joke..... Fool in the Rain is my favorite Zeppelin tune and 97 is my fave #. There.

  11. so is brother Will. I think Regine has duel citizenship? Win stated that he votes as an ex-patriot.
  12. Okay, so made the trek down to Nelsonville yesterday to be in line early, as to be sure to get into the show. Got down there 3 hours early and had no problem getting in. The place was packed(450 capacity) and it was really an awesome show. Found out while in line that they were planning on doing a second show at 9:30, for those that couldn't get into the first one. I ended up going to both shows. The second one has for 200 people or less. Maybe it was because I was on the floor for the second show, but it seemed better, higher energy, more crowd response, etc. 1st show: Intervention Keep
  13. We saw you back there. I thought your little boy was so cute. And of course his favorite thing was Glenn! Drummers are awesome!
  14. I'd really like to see a picture of them all framed together, if someone does that. Mostly because that's going to be a gigantic piece of matte! If you're making calls to local frame stores, ask about a student discount. Some places offer those to art students. Put on your best beret, act like you're too depressed to really care and take your posters in! Johnny and cryptique offered up the most inexpensive ways to go about this. If you decided to try and cut your own matte, matte cutters can be very inexpensive and definitely beat out an exacto and a straight-edge.
  15. This will probably depend on when it is. Someone in the band is going to be a father this summer. Those seats were no more expensive than any other.
  16. Indeed! I think I may have figured out the mystery beer! I got back to my friend's place and cracked open a RJ King Wingwalker Lager. It's a Pilsner and has a similar taste. The difference may be because mine here is from a bottle......It's brewed in Wisconsin and everything!
  17. This doesn't include a stop in Columbus and it makes me sad. Hells yeah! See you there!
  18. Tonight was just great. I have been waiting to hear "Monday" and it was just awesome! As I was sort of walking out, a roadie threw a setlist out and the tape on it literally stuck to my shirt. Through the magic of some wonderful VC friends, I got an after-party pass and was able to get Glenn, Nels, Pat and John to sign it. Minutes later, I was down the street at Fat Cat and Mikael was there! Even though he was on his way out, he was nice enough to sign it as well. 5 out of 6 ain't bad, right? The setlist really confirms that they had fully intended on closing with Lonely 1. I'm so happ
  19. it was great to meet you! Hopefully see you tomorrow night. At the break I was thinking "this is the best Wilco show I've seen and it's only HALF OVER!!!" A lot of really great tunes, saw a lot of great people, too. A couple of false starts, too, which is an element that I really enjoy. Makes them seem, I don't know, more human, I guess. Johnny's posters and t-shirt look great! Evilhorn-can you post some of those pictures you took? I know some of them are great! Can't wait for the rest of the week! Hoping they'll bring back the horn section other nights(especially for whenever they pla
