  1. Just because you order it doesn't mean you have to eat it. No one has seen Jared in years, anyway. Plus, he's a hologram
  2. Not one of you has mentioned the deep regret and feelings of insecurity and complete and absolute rage, not to mention an unfulfilled hunger, one feels when leaving Subway after only getting a 6" instead of the 12". I've been told that these are the feelings that accompany getting the 6". I always get the 12".
  3. The live sound is going to be better than the studio sound in most cases, I'd think, and with most bands. Particularly with the GD, too. I still think their studio stuff, Wake of the Flood, too, sounded good, regardless of the content on some of them.
  4. How so? They sound fine to me on the above-mentioned Lps. Just curious what you're hearing. I think of worst-sounding albums like some of the Jesus and Mary Chain albums: murky. Had a cassette of an early Rush album that was pretty shitty-sounding, too, but that might have been due to it being on cassette.
  5. Terrapin Station is almost over-produced, but sounds good. Go To Heaven is crisp, too. I always thought American Beauty had a great sound to it, actually.
  6. Check out Autzen 8.22.93. Sweet openers and overall solid show.
  7. Watching the Closing of the Winterland dvd again. Not a bad version of one tune on it. And, check Bob on Stagger Lee. He plays the slide just fine to accompany the tune, ya freaks.
  8. Because, you know, they make adequate as a pillow.
  9. And, have everyone on the planet confuse your name with the guy who wrote Still Life With Woodpecker.
  10. Anybody have any audio of the few shows Taj Mahal played bass in the Great American String Band w/ Garcia and Grisman in spring/early summer '74?
  11. He has an Academy Award, you know. How do you know he wasn't acting?
  12. I've heard the shows, to an extent, but thought the compilation bonus disc of acoustic stuff looked cool. And sure, I'd like to hear more.....
  13. If you were a teen-aged (or pre-teen aged) boy in the mid-to-late 70s, there's a 95% chance you liked/loved KISS. I was one of them.
  14. That comment is most likely what split the lovely couple up....
  15. Decent price for the bundle. Have the Theatre 1839 one and was at the Merriweather shows. Good stuff. The Lunt- Fontaine bonus disc looks interesting, as well. Good score.
  16. Spaghetti with Crisco is pretty good, too.
  17. Haven't seen the footage, but if what you saw looks "wrong" and what the teacher reported (repeated "no"s to the student's hugging, lips to her neck/cheek, etc.) then it's borderline (or is) sexual harassment, in which he's lucky to get a year suspension and not an arrest.
  18. Is dry-humping the leg of the teacher frowned upon, too?
  19. Has she been told to stop and does she put her lips on them?
  20. The pork is in the pan. You know this, you tease.
